College football seems normal again when programs like Michigan win a national title after being overshadowed and at times being written off as ever being a true elite program again. Another season in the books. And congrats UW as well. Great season and UW football has proven more in recent years than many other grandfather blue blood programs have in a while. Looking forward to next season, many new changes across the CFB landscape and should be another fun ride.

Penix had time all night. Their O-line did a decent job. There's only one record sack on him. However, whatever Michigan did with looks, hurrying him, and getting in his face did the trick because he was off all night even with his wide receivers getting space on the defenders.

This is why I love the playoffs. Inferior teams will never win the championship. I got so tired of seeing teams like Utah beat Bama in 08 or boise state beating Oklahoma. Those are fluke wins after a month off and playing cupcakes all year. They won’t be able to repeat those performances two weeks in a row. UW played a perfect game against Texas and barely won. Michigan looked average against Bama and won. No way UW was going to win tonight.

I want Washington to win since they are from the Pac-12 and it's the Pac-12's last year as a conference. At the same time I want Michigan to win because coach Harbaugh deserves /earned it, every year he has come close only to lose the final game of the season or lose the Big 10 championship game. Also because he's the ex 49ers (my team) head coach and he turned that franchise around from a losing team to a playoff/Super Bowl contender every year he was there.
