Percentage of GDP for military spending makes everything much clearer. You can see how US percentage of GDP for military dove down after Vietnam War + Jimmy Carter Presidency and then went back up during Reagan but not at the level of Vietnam War era. And then it dives down to its lowest in the 90s after collapse of Soviet Union and then goes back up a little after 9/11 but then goes back down in the mid to late 2000s onwards. And now it's gone up and is gonna continue to go back up because of Sino-American Cold War and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

According to China's official caliber, my country's military expenditure accounts for about 1.4% of GDP. I don't know where this 1.75% figure comes from. But no matter which data, I think China's defense budget should be maintained at the same level as the United States. At least higher than Germany and Japan, the defeated countries of World War II
