In 2022, the National Council for the Traditional Arts debuted a new program in partnership with the National Park Service entitled "National Treasures: A Tour of Culture Bearers in National Parks". This program presents recipients of the National Endowment for the Arts’ prestigious National Heritage Fellowship in National Parks across the country, highlighting our nation's most valued traditional artists and landmarks.
