Meddling with humanity is something to abstractly see - no, the natural fact is it’s not your fault. The social engineering within these topics of meddling with humanity is harmful - the introduction said so. So to lock into intellectual recognition of engineering & meddling against humanities best interest is the global atrocity. Stand & watch & talk or stand shoulder to should for truth & integrity of humanity.

Frank Prado -I don’t believe that technology will necessarily create a useless class as alleged. Universal values must be upheld by all nations:1)Governance, science and technology, defense and security, economics, the environment exist for the benefit of all humanity, not to be manipulated by some governments or by some big corporations. For this reason it is necessary to equip the United Nations to guarantee security worldwide. And yet nations must be given the right to their culture and the practice of any religion of their choice.

I have watched many interviews of Harari on RU-vid. The problematic thing about them was that they were all too similar. Harari was asked the same set of questions event after event. This session however felt very fresh and engaging. I feel that the interviewer did an amazing job asking Harari new questions, adding humourous remarks and inquiring Harari further on his answers which made the experience very engaging. I loved how she conducted this event. The box shaped microphone they threw to the questionnaires was very funny, I have never seen such microphone before!

Because, the poor (by education mostly) would not trust until they get the picture!The rich may agree to help the poor but would not agree to compromise any comfort! Thank you Yuval N. Harari, thank you so much. You are talking out of my heart. We have to teach each other about what we are able to connect the simplest fact, what we are all human and what we are first of all uncompleted without another. What is the ego without its alter? What is the child without its siblings, family and peers? We tried so hard, more than centuries lastet, to find our position and a way of locating subjekts amount surrounded objects. We needed it, starved for it... But, yes it's truth, we are not made for the masses. We are not able to oversee all at one's, sometimes even parts of parts... But, we have now build up our crafts on a level where it is unreachable for the single one.... Let's unite, let's talk... Thank you and if you are ever reading this, I would be pleased to hear from you via PM... Searching for minor cosmopolitanisms I found that you are given a huge amount of it in your work... May it be shared! *

Who gave wisdom to humans?. Harari said there is no God who is protecting us but at the same time, he mentioned that human kind are becoming God's and are getting divine powers. My point is that even the atheists have an inner disposition about God but due to scientism they do not acknowledge God.

I have heard so many Harari speeches. All of them are very interesting, but he is always talking about the same countries when he develops his ideas. It would be great if he included in his speeches other realities. For example, when he speaks about nationalism he doesn´t mention the problems that some European countries have, as Spain (where I live), and the political and economic charges that we have to assume related to nacionalism.

Let's agree on this, that after studying in school books, campaign by government, encouragement by NGOs. We only get a superficial idea of modern problems. So many steps, especially if you belong to typical indian middle class. First ignore baseless arguments on politics. Then don't become too biased to ideology i.e left, right, social factor of cast , religion, aristocracy. Then understand India as whole nation and clarify many myths and misconceptions as much as possible. Then we merely able to think about cosmic changes, what it actually means.

Here is HOW. 1) Accept that we are all selfish. 2) Realize that cooperating is a selfish action. 3) Become aware of the priorities. 4) Start thinking about ways to solve. 5) Adapt Humans are designed to adapt, but there will be an adjusting period. (letting go of identities etc) People who adapt quickly will help and comfort those who are resistant. The adjusting period will eventually end. Never underestimate the power of getting USED TO something. Things will change again. Repeat the process. We have to take these steps at the individual level as well as at the organization level to make an impact.

What he said about teaching the history of humankind is absolutely right. Which is why global history is an important part of the community - your nation's history is just a part of it. The problem with designing history curriculums, especially in a school context, is that it can lead to information overload for the young minds pretty quickly, unless they are empowered to research information on their own with the tools at their disposal.

Yuval, that last questions "how true is your story?", came very close the question I would have asked you that is "How is your good story different from the "good stories of others for example a politician who somehow influences the result of election by a good story that might not be true?" and "those who are now influenced now by your good story, what do they do differently compared to those who are not influenced?

58:05 That's a modest answer, but what if upgrading yourself helps you understand yourself better?
@ShadyWulf
@ShadyWulf 2 года назад
Furthermore, should the process to upgrade oneself (to better understand oneself) put us in a position of risk/harm and/or vulnerability - would the trade-off be worthwhile? Think, for a moment, that we inject into our brain a nanochip processor. One that connects with our conscious thoughts, monitors our every perception and sensation and reads us like a book. One that then processes all that information into a suitable format and sends it back to us in a report for our personal consumption. There's a chance that we may react very strongly to the contents of our self-evaluation report. We could be inspired, driven to depression, enraged by the invasiveness it has on our intimately held privacy or even just calm with the developing sense of clarity - yet completely unable to change ourselves to meet our desired standards. It could be good, but it can also be bad. We might propel ourselves forward, or behave just as Daniel Kahneman's Thinking Fast, and Slow might suggest - with dismissial (to take the information in, and do nothing about it). And that in itself is only a small issue. "Better" is subjective. What I consider better for me may be different from what someone else believes is better for me, from what a national/international leader believes is better for me (and all of the population of the country/planet). Can we then even trust the technology to aid us in our personal goals? We might not even know ourselves any more. If technology can analyse us that deeply and can be abused by corporations/agencies/governments to manipulate patterns of thought and behaviour, it can be used as a tool by those in positions of power to direct us. That's the vulnerability that we risk, and the harm we may inflict under such an influence can be much greater on a collective scale. I personally challenge the thought that we should allow for these technologies to be constructed into existence. I recognise that a public ban can be subverted by government/military secrecy, and that the appeal to prevent the construction of such technologies is useless - but if we're unable to prevent a seemingly mandatory necessity (even unspoken) for equipping every single living being with the latest technology - it will be impossible to prevent a catastrophic failure of humanity where artificial intelligence/computation hacks humans on a broad scale to unfathomable fates and ends.

I think the private sector has yet to be defined to it's potential. I also think that the concept of an Operating System has yet to be defined to (it's potential). Transitioning from Object Oriented to Agent Oriented OS for true AI. I would like to see a world where ephemeralization, and progressive education meet to define and redefine the private sector. We are also transitioning to a technological understanding, and quite literally evolving beyond biological evolution's limits. So allot is happening in such a short amount of time. I feel the future of the world environment depends more on the private sector than anything else. I think we need to acknowledge this point as a global community, and build/shape our future around market economies with added values. Redefining the private sector, operating systems, and economies directly, by constant innovation around human values. Global conferences that discuss these values are crucial for these economies to form.
