No need to study the hitters for pitching 😅 what kind of things to throw . Only for hitting this season study the pitchers 😊 . So his workload dropped by half to recover his arm .

I think he'll have better average if he finesse(mixing it up even with bunt) a bit and not go for homerun at every bat. I know both are different type of hitters but Ichiro once said he himself could have 30+ homeruns a season if he tried but his average would've been lower.

He is literally still in his adjustment period, everything from getting used to the mlb ball to moving halfway across the world and then getting dragged to korea for an international marketing gimmick has negatively impacted his start in mlb. Also, comparing a batter’s debut against a mid nationals team with a pitcher’s debut against the padres’ potent offense is just plain idiotic.

The average superstar player would be in it just for themselves and demand most if not all of their money upfront each year.
