@@JakeTheCake1701 yea last year he got on base a lot but couldnt drive the ball in the air. The last few weeks has not been the case as he has two homeruns and several doubles
The Wilson cycle is absolutely amazing. But I would add a smaller key to look at is Rojas picking up that 1-2 single to bring Wilson home after his first career triple. It's good seeing the "defense only" guys like him and Stott get these timely hits and get those swings in more so it hopefully starts to become routine.

JT Reamuto in 2023 and Wilson tonight.
absolutely a die hard phil’s fan but of course i was at tuesdays game and we lost but im good phil’s are good let’s keep these bats hot man and run these W’s up again
Please read. I am a life long Philly fan. Eagles sixers phils. My family and I were heading to the game last night and were in a really bad head on collision. I can’t comment on accident other than we are alive and I remember the other driver placed in hand cuffs after sobriety test. This was the first game I was going to attend in over 30 years. I am really sad we could not get there but thank god we are alive. If anyone can pass this to someone at the Phillies my son really wanted a bucket cap they were giving away.
Sure would be nice if Rojas would stop jumping to catch fly balls when he doesn't need to jump. Fortunately, even with his errors in judgement in the field and on the bases, the Fightins easily handled the Nats this night. Kudos to Weston Wilson! I think his career is going to be one to watch.
Now if the manager does not start Wesley Wilson tonight, then I feel he in not doing the right thing. Wes is hot right now; he gets his bat on the ball.
CP Rankin Ads on radio are so insufferable and insipid that I have to mute them. Who on EARTH talks like that? Either get a real Advertising Agency or let me write your copy.
So WW which we all knew had sum talent wasted away for 100 games in AAA while we had to sit through one shit LF after another and Wilson plays alot of positions. I want to see them against KC Hous and Atl coming up and Kerkring stinks
The cycle has to be the lamest stat achievement in sports that everyone oos and awes about. Definitely in baseball. Better to hit 4 homers. 1 homer and 3 triples. Or even 1 HR, 2 Triples and 1 single
Baseball is full of interesting anomalies and rarities. The cycle is a result of a very successful day at the plate that few players ever (accidentally) achieve so everybody cheers. No need to be a killjoy because the cycle isn't the single most important achievement ever, just go with it and enjoy the baseball.
