Native American Indians Rare 1924 Films - Tulsa OK restored enhanced 

Restored film from 1924 National Indian Convention in Tulsa, OK. Conference was held at the Brady Hotel and nearby areas. Members of the Creek, Cherokee, Quapaw and Osage tribes were in in attendance. The convention was held to develop unity between Oklahoma native American tribes. Indian stick ball platers are shown, along with Chief LeRoy Red Eagle of Quapaw tribe and his son. Otoe Indian stomp dance performed. These are the real Native Americans as depicted in movies like Killers of the Flower Moon
The attendees formed the Society of Oklahoma Indians and chose S. J. Soldani as the first president.
