As a Native combat veteran who struggles with an intractable migraine from too many concussions, survivor's guilt, and PTSD, I appreciated this film immensely. This is just what I NEEDED after yet another sleepless night. I mean, I definitely NEEDED THIS MOVIE. Wado, to Mr. Hamilton and all of the actors and crew who worked so hard to take this from a dream to a REALITY. You're all heroes to me. As soon as my hero wife has the time, I'd like her to see this too. Again, WADO!

Maybe acupuncture , some research on line for migraine cures . Finally prayer and putting it under the Blood and Stripes of Jesus Christ . Jesus said ,; COME UNTO ME ALL YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN. Give Christ your burdens. . Ask Jesus for salvation and guidance. Guilt, shame infirmity etc we give to Christ and ask his forgiveness. Spirits of infirmity attack people. We need to take authority over these things .

@douglasbrannon6525 Thank you, or Wado, in our language for taking the time to supply some possible solutions for me. I have tried acupuncture and even Botox, along with every conceivable answer, and thus far I get temporary reductions in the pain intensity. I am working with a top-flight neurologist at a university in the southeast. At the moment, the aspect that is an issue is the opioids I've been treated with for over a decade. Opioids, when used as an analgesic under long-term conditions alter the neurochemistry of our brains. When we supply neurochemicals unnatural to our bodies, e.g., opiates, our bodies stop producing the natural pain relievers they have been making for a very long time. Additionally, even neuroscientists cannot say for certain what the long-term effects of opiates are on our brain health. My most significant fear is CTE, which Jumior Seau and other professional football players experienced. Predominantly, my concussions arose from shock wave events, i.e. explosions, bombs from CAS, or Closer Air Support, grenade blasts, and IEDs. Also, when engaged in close-quarters combat, I've taken blows to the head from rifle butts, knife handles, etc. Then starting where I left off and playing Judo and Jiu-jitsu, and adding western boxing to the mix led to me getting knocked out three times and choked out once while fighting in MMA. Somewhere in amongst those head traumas was the critical one that became this intractable migraine. Intractable just being a more medical sounding term for never ending.

Sorry to hear that,since I am a black American,my great great Grandmother I never knew because I was not born at the time was a Full blooded Seminole INDIAN,My great Grandmother hair felt like silk,and Her Daughter had the kind of hair anybody would want,wash,and go hair,no straightening ,no perms.

Also my father side is from FL and he looked AmInd but we are "black. I suspect they have Seminole origin and that the family lost who they were through the centuries. We now are beginning to know who the authentic indigenous folk are, after all these years of being falsely ID'd. I'm so glad you posted!

@@laurenchristianna2092 Well laurenchristianna2092 I don't have wash, and go hair either,it's just that I saw my Grandmother get her hair washed by Her daughter,and when It was done all I saw was waves in Her hair,I didn't see Her Daughter put a perm in Her hair,so I knew it was more of the Indian side of the family,My Seminole Indian great great Grandmother had my great Grandmother,and She had my Grandmother,so they inherited more of the Indian textured hair.

My Dad was a Shoshoni Indian and Irish. I am half Shoshoni Indian and Irish. My eyes are Cornflower Blue and I have dark hair. My mom was Scandanavian, so I have that from my mom's side. I have some of those, call it either traits, or qualities, in me that I see in this movie, with seeing and hearing things in my mind, before they happen the next day, because by the next day it comes true. I have always wondered how that happens. I have also heard a voice in my head, warning me about danger that was going to happen to me, if I didn't pay attention to what he (the male voice) was saying and warning me of. I have what the Indians are talking about in this movie and I am so grateful and thankful, because I cherish that I have it within me. ❤❤❤❤❤

I have some of those qualities, too. I only have English and Swedish as far as I know. Dreams of what happened the next day. Inner male voice warning me of fatal danger and sometimes waking me up early to meditate, calling my name for example. Was totally alone. Am grateful for being taught from within. I look within to awaken and be in tune with myself.

I liked this film a lot. I earned my officer's commission in the USMC and when I was wounded I went through the VA Hospital. I was miserable and had to crawl on the floor to the rest room (remembering that scene from this movie). I have a lot of respect for the American Native warriors in our country. Associating with my Native American comrades made me respect my American Native blood a lot more and I'm a Holt Hamilton fan, oorah!

I feel so much emotion from your subscribers, when they speak about their culture and traditions. First Nation have gone through hell after white settlers came to America and Canada. I am Welsh and we were annexed by the English a long time ago. Our Language and culture almost disappeared. We had brave people who gradually brought our birthright home. I love the reverence toward the Holy ones. And the wisdom of the elders who walk in both wisdom and understanding of what is right from wrong. Bad people are bad people. But good people can get caught up in bad things because there's a deceiver that is always lurking behind and around places to place snares to catch the good people and force them to do bad things. I strongly recommend this movie. I wish this could be shared in our schools.

My first cousin Ernest Tsosie plays Tom and the corn stalk poster in the background at 14:36 was what my late father Jack and his twin brother Dean used to explain Navajo traditional educational philosophy. Dean was the President of Dine' (Navajo) College where a portion of this movie was filmed and was instrumental in incorporating Navajo beliefs in the curriculum at Dine' College in the 1980's. Imagine my surprise seeing it. There is also a cornstalk sculpture at the college that honors their contribution.

What a wonderful film; it's really nice to see a film with so many Native American (Aborigines) acting in a manner befitting they're natural way of expression, without any of that "false","forced" acting bullshit. Great movie. :) Native People have great power from long time ago, from father to son, we have much of this here in Norway also, with the Lap people. In Norway the Lap people have something called " Ganing " it can give you healing or a curse. a pregnant girl fall on the ice and she start bleeding, then a lap came, he puts his hand on here stomach, and the bleeding stopped. there are many of this stories, on the other hand, if you do wrong to a "Ganing" Lap, he can curse you to break your leg,or worse, and it will happen. My father from Tromsø ( North of Norway ) he lived with the Lap People over a long period, he was an artist and was drawing illustrasjons for a book on native Norwegian people. he told me many stories about his friendship with great people and their knowledge from many generations back.

Love to hear more about Lapp. I thot my heritage was part German until DNA said part Scandinavian Lapp. Have traced my maternal lineage to German Senff family. But my dad's family were from German speaking part of Alsace Lorraine and not able to trace back very far after 1800s. They became Wisconsin dairy farmers. I was raised on West Coast though.

Quite the little gem! I don't know who picked most of the cast. They were so natural and awkward in their acting. I ignored that. It was a great first start, spoiler alert, opens up room for more Seeker stuff. This movie was so non laden with CGI, so flat on the ground with everything it portrayed. I can see the budget restraints, but nothing was cheated out with the cinematography or location management. Loved the characters in this film, even though it was more than obvious the actors are as green as the ferns and the forest. Good one.

As a Metis and a researcher on the subject ever since my first paranormal experience at 16 years of age and a witness to the Kecksberg incident in 1966 I have been waiting for decades now 76 years of age to watch a movie from an indigenous perspective on this su8bject. I really enjoyed a fresh perspective. Unlike all the gloom and doom from Hollywood on the subject.

Awesome movie, thanks for sharing…great story and actors/actresses. I love this film. I have many Native American friends, and I love the cultural differences. I’m especially fond of the PowWows, I actually feel more at home when I’m with my friends and at many of the events they do. I’m so glad for this film is out here. This brings an understanding of their traditions and ancestors. With tribal customs and traditions handed down from one generation to another, it helps to keep their heritage alive, plus even their own indigenous languages are taught to their children and passed along to the next generation. I have great respect for their heritage….HIGH 5….👍❤️❤️❤️👍🙏🏼😇

The Dine' are what Navajo call themselves. My son and i were adopted by some of the poorest members south of Sheep Rock NM in 79. Gloria's Grandma was one of the lost children hidden in Mts. before long trail of tears adopted by Ute and later returned to their ancestral home in the Mts.. Between NM & Canyon de Chelly

So much loved this movie and will listen to it again and again... It will help me learning Navajo at Duolingo where it is listed as endangered language along with the Scottish Gaelic. I have Chataw and Cherokee blood. Wish I could find a way To learn these languages!
