Native American Resistance Camp Fights Oil Pipeline

I went for a week to the Oceti Sakowin camp in November 2016 to help their medical team and herbal healers. The amount of love, unity, and culture shown not just by the Sioux people but also by every other tribe who came to support them was absolutely amazing. 500 tribes from various countries came together to stand up to this pipeline, it was one of the most beautiful things I've seen.

Indigenous People and Native Americans have the wisdom and knowledge . . . other people must listen, learn and follow their lead.

These are very kind, peaceful people fighting for all of our human rights to clean water. Please support them.

Update. Armed officers surrounded unarmed protectors from construction site. Up to 20 individuals have been arrested, including medic and media personnel. Still have 1 water protector locked down to the equipment. The police are not allowing folks to take water or check in on them as they continue to stay locked to the equipment. I worked to help rebuild 2 segments that blew up in the worlds largest inland refinery...Phillips 66 in Borger Texas. I was an Industrial Electrician, apprentice pipe 'n iron welder b4 I became an Electrician. I learned about caverns that oil is stored & if the people knew how much oil the US has sitting in vast caverns...they would never go for these pipelines. For we have enuff oil to last us NUMEROUS DECADES...~50-80yrs 'n that's not requiring ppl to be conservative w/their usage. I later was the First Woman Roustabout Foreman in the Texas Panhandle & I can tell you....the statement of relying on foreign oil is an insult to our intelligence & is disgustingly laughable. Tesla Towers, inventor Nikola Tesla, built towers that accessed the earths "natural energy/electricity" & proved that everyone could have "FREE ENERGY" & that there is no need to seek other ways to create electricity!! But, GE & Westinghouse....greedy bastards wanted to charge ppl for electricity & hid this knowledge/info from the public...just as they did not want ppl knowing Tesla invented AC, Broadcasting, Radios, Radar, Electromagnetic Technologies, the Vacum Light bulb, Scalar Technology, the Telephone (not Graham Bell) etc etc. Between Tesla's Inventions & Hemp....we will never need oil , gas nor coal ever again!!!

You know another way of weaning off of foreign oil and just oil in general is by using renewable energy/alternative sources... No need to build a pipeline and destroy sacred ground and no need to go to other countries for oil.
