@@tomimpala It is what it is. I'm glad I found Cumtown and listened to it when I did, TAFS's is honestly unbearable but that's primarily because I hate the bug. Stav was working on crowd stuff and his standup and decided to separate from the podcast to do his own thing. I'd argue it was not worth it, as he had one special and does local shows. That money dries up. Cumtown was literally like 100k a month for him to sit there and laugh and riff with Nick. It was the best of times, it was the gayest of times.
It's because they're not taking it seriously and aren't just Shapiro-ing out a list of buzzwords meant to upset le libs. Deliberate, conscious attempts to offend people by appealing to stereotypes or trying to portray the position of the person spouting the stereotypes as rational make it less funny than a bunch of stoned idiots having pure streams of consciousness about anal sex. Theres this great picture I saw on the Tafs subreddit once of an old picture of a gathering of dudes from the 1900's at an approved order of redmen meeting and theres a guy there who looks EXACTLY like Nick. Really wish I could find it again tbh 😂
