“Drinking Tea and Coffee Can Lower the Risk of Dementia and Stroke”
Native Camp has a reputation for having a difficult demo class! Like it’s so hard to pass on your first take because you are automatically marked as failed (or for retake) the moment you miss something or answer something incorrectly. Thus, the purpose of this video is to share the common trap questions given by the admins (most especially admin Francis and admin Melissa) and share strategies on how to anticipate questions and/or answers.
Remember that you must maximize your resources, anticipate questions and utilize the chatbox. Admins can’t see your screen so it’s just a matter of how fast you find the answers to their trap questions!

I kept on watching your videos for tips, though I already have an experience with Bizmates for 2 years, still it's nerve-racking 😅 So last night, I took the demo lesson for the first time. I waited for an hour, but only took me 3 minutes to do the lesson. Three minutes, no kidding! I started with the opening spiel, and ended with the first word "dementia". That's it! Then I passed. They look for teachers who have good pronunciation, engaging students, and above all, building rapport without too exaggeration. Si admin orlando ang nag assess sa akin at Di pa ako nagsisimula sa lesson pinahinto na ako at sinabihan na unique daw yung accent he likes it ganun2 pero underscoring ako. @@TeachaKaren update , I got Admin Francise today 😳, he spoke calmly enough but he asked me to retake because I didn’t realize the sentence that he made with a word had some mistakes and I moved on 😅, Teachers pay close attention to their sentences, they always has mistakes .. well I go again 🙏.

Hey Teacha Karen! Again really appreciate all of your hard work put into these videos as I followed them religiously for my application and demo lesson. I have a question (I'm not sure if other commenters have experienced the same thing and if you were able to assist them). I unfortunately failed my demo lesson but I just received an email regarding Native Camps Study Sapuri. Would this mean I would still be teaching online and what is the difference between a Native camp teacher and a Study Sapuri teacher?

You will be a Native Camp teacher but instead of teaching the 30+ textbooks we cater to, you will just be dedicated to the Sapuri (english learning app) app users. They basically learn from the app and have an option to practice their learnings with a tutor.

Techaaa I do love your content, but I have some concerns because the handbook didnt show up when I do the demo class and the evaluator said it was still on progress to update. It's been a months I am waiting and still the same. The handbook doesnt show up and I cannot use the features on native camp including chat box. By the way Iam from Indonesia. For me po, reduce is plural verb for plural subject, and reduces is singular verb for singular subject.

I fill dead air by telling my students what I'm doing (let me get a picture to describe the word I taught you), or I ask the questions, I ask them to speak (e.g. give me examples etc). Over time, you get better in multi-tasking and it gets easier (and dead air gets shorter)

Hello teacher Karen! After sending my self written intro and video, finally I already received an email form the "Recruitment Team, Native Camp", congratulating and welcoming me as an NC teacher. They are also asking for my bank account, etc. But on the other hand, there's also another email coming from "Native Camp" stating I'm only a few steps away from becoming a teacher and asking me to accomplish a task related to Study Sapuri English given a deadline. I am just so confused right now Teacher Am I already an official NC teacher or not? 😅.

You got accepted teacha, congrats! The confusing email is just an offer to be a dedicated sapuri teacher which is basically not having to teach all the 20+ textbooks of Native Camp, just the Sapuri ones (which is a "learn English online" app)

@@auroraqoshi9353 not really a trap question. The admin just intentionally gave an answer with wrong grammar and read the words with wrong pronunciation. And on the discussion part, the admin throws back the questions to me.

Unfortunately I've been trying to log into my account so that I can do an intro video plus updating my teacher profile but I cant seem to log in. Reduced is an adjective - you said a verb - Am I wrong?

I thought that unmixed in this context means only coffee or only tea, As the example of drinking coffee and tea has a higher percentage of reducing stroke (32) "The study found that those who drank two to three cups of tea AND two to three cups of coffee daily had a 32% lower risk of stroke. Those who drank two to three cups of unmixed coffee OR tea had a 12% and a 16% lower risk of stroke." Am I wrong?
