I'm not because I have most of the instruments from Komplete 14 Ultimate Collector's Edition. So what is new other than 2 maybe 3 new instruments and Kontakt 8????

@@MrMrzPaper_loveCo It's lacking some details for me now, I have Komplete 14 Select and can upgrade to any of the 3. Wondering if Komplete Standard got full kontakt 8 or player... and I have about every instrument already. I bought them seperate. Maybe just should update kontakt 8?

@@Kris_jellybeard There are a lot of different upgrades from 15. Namely the new features Chords, Phrases, a new Komplete Select, Izotope Neutron 4, a boat load of sounds and effects. So yeah it's different from 14. But I get what you saying though, for those that don't use all of that what's the immediate......I got you. For me I'm just excited about Kontakt 8 honestly, lol I appreciate you coming through and checking out the vid and the channel! Hope it inspired and motivated you to be creative! Blessings!

The PRICE. NO. I'd love Kontakt 8 - but the rest? I dunno - an upgrade of CE is around £450. Far too much considering I own so much of it already in K14

Alot of people probably won't because like us we have all of them but I guess when I look at the upgrades it just a matter of per producer and what's needed. Never ever. I've found better and more stable solutions for EVERYTHING that I once liked to use from NI, which in total didn't cost much more than Komplete.. NI killed so many excellent plugins (Absynth!! FM8!!, Spectral Delay, B4 Organ, etc.) and now in Komplere 15 they've killed the good drummer Battery too!! What's the point? And stability has also become very difficult, many crashes. I no longer trust this company, they want to sell NI hardware keyboards and this DJ machine stuff. I only use mostly Kontakt because of the sample libraries. But I hate this "new" player thingy with biiig pics but only a handful control knobs. Fortunately, there are other manufacturers these days who make much better VSTi synths.

Now you know you have to wait and see what the deals come, lol Alot of products wait until Black Friday or Summer of Sale to get the deals and sometimes NI might hit us with a sporadic sale here and there. Worst update ever, NI are only interested in stuff that will bring them money on top of whatever you paid for Komplete itself ie more konkatk libraries and expansion packs, 0 new reaktor synths or updates, no FM8, Battery etc updates

I hear you family. I will definitely make sure to be one of the ones that passes this along to the family and let them diagnose how they need to address this. But I definitely understand what you saying as far as the older (legacy) instruments. They do have the community which I did a vid for on Reaktor and free libraries. As far Battery, they have kits when they do the expansions and one shots to use. Ut I get your concern though. Im looking forward to it. Also a Collectors Edition owner here but I gave into temptation and bought a few VSTs after 14. Kontakt 8 is looking very interesting 👀. Seems like one of the bigger leaps so not sure why others are concerned there isnt many new instruments from K14... @@PULSEMusicGroup I know what you're saying. We all have our preferences but this is a problem across many industries incl music, film, TV and videos games. It just takes a lot more to impress people these days. The internet provides so much accessible 'stuff' that people are taking it for granted. Let me put another perspective on it.... If this was offered as part of the update from Komplete 1 to Komplete 2 people would be having street parties. So its not that NI have changed its the consumers that need to reset and become more positive. Sorry to sound a bit preachy but it needs to be said ha ha!

interesting… The flagship list is f**king tiny. Not surprising at all, as everything has pointed to NI being more interested in selling samples than actual new or updated products. Nothing really new or very interesting. More and more "press single key" toys or strange experimental sampled crap. And they killed vsts again - Battery is dead!! Cant trust NI anymore.

Hey family. So standard come with the full version of Kontakt 8. I know usually it was supposed to be the player but all versions of it now come with the player. As far as individual upgrade then it will be a purchase for sure especially if you have an older version of Kontakt. There is alot more in this one that I know alot of people are not that excited about but there are ALOt of different things in 15 from 14. Sure more sounds, features, and etc but the price alone for the indivisual ones are nothing compared to getting it as ar as a bundle. It all depends on the producer/ buyer for sure. But I am super excited as well for Kontakk 8. Most ddef gonn ahave a walkthrough and review of that one when I can post! Appreciate you coming through and sharing fam! Hope it helps in any way! I upgraded to 14 when it was new. Since then bought new plugins and expansions I wanted. So upgrade to 15 will feel like buy what I already have again. I will get some new things I don't have, but am not interested for now. I am at the moment only interested in Kontakt 8. But will wait for sale. I hope it's better with you since last time. Everything is going great! Even though I had to celebrate my Mom transition last month my daughter is having a baby. The family is doing good and honestly I can't complain. I recently got a great deal on Komplete 14 Ultimate. I really didn’t think I would ever get that level, but it happened. So I will wait a while now. I had to update my Mac OS to use Bouquet. And I picked up Cubase Artist 13 for cheap, so I’m tired of spending money and installing stuff. I appreciate the info, bro!

REAPER customers: Don't buy a Kontrol Mk3 keyboard as the included Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2 software crashes REAPER. It makes the keyboard completely useless! This critical bug has been reported in November 2023 and NI rejects to resolve this.

I'm so excited for komplete 15. I also like the Gui look of Playbox. I think it would be cool in a later update to tweek the look of kontakt 8 to look similar.

Well giibarebfonn have in for an AWESOME surprise! Kontakt 8 is actually really fun tomolay with and has a lot of what the feature are being talked about in the site. @@PULSEMusicGroup the killed the best synth Absynth and decide to make cheap sounds for knobwigglers. I own Komplete 13 complete collectors edition. I give you an example. Check their guitars… try to make a sound with a sample guitar Libary I did upload recently… The world is healing. Compare it what NI give you for yours bugs. By the way this peace is included in my upcoming Pluginguru Guitar effects Libary History of Rock. Check in my channel the last upload…. No iZotope nothing. Just fieldrecordings for Sounddesign sampled guitar and free available Open Source effects.

Now I can say is that I agree with you on Absynth. Just did a video a while ago showcasing it again and was really confused as to why this is now "a legacy item" for NI. Definitely dropped the ball on that one and Razor. I have a forgotten series on the channel that I showcase these. But we are on the same page.
