Sorry I missed the stream I would definitely join if it wasn't for the time difference. Yeah I 100% agree that Absynth is one of the best, if not the best synth from NI still to date. I love pads and it has some serious patches in it. As for Battery what can I say... despite having battery 4 for years I still use Battery 3 believe it or not. I think its just the clean UI and quick workflow that im used to. So im biased but they are most definitely still relevant to me in 2024. As always keep up the good work and ignore the haters. You did a commendable and rare thing and spoke out the truth with nothing to gain from doing it!

Reece I just want or say thank you so much for those words and I greatly appreciate that. Knowing who you are is so important in this day and age and you seriously can allow people to take you out of your character and your truth. I know that it hard and I was close to folding but I appreciate my family, you, and supporters like you from the community. Without question it's still usable. Without question! I just hate the fact that it's no longer in Komplete 15 and exiled. Battery 4 isn't of course but it's definitely a need to be update to 5 maybe with a better search engine and how they work now in the current workflow of NK2 from Native Instruments. I like using Omnisphere 2 Syntronik 2 Max Sampletank Arturia Kontakt That’s all I need But I have so many other synths I’m in the mode of creating my own Vst rompler Because lately The new sounds from these modern vsts just ain’t it For example I think the Play Series from NI is just garbage….im my humble opinion Sounds just cannot compete with something like Syntronik 2 or Omni

Most definitely. Omnisphere is so dope but it's SO huge when it comes to sound that it would make my computer slow back in the day. I haven't re up it since but need to. I been in my NI stuff mostly. @@PULSEMusicGroup just some…not all of them…I think the ones with drums are great but the ones with sounds IMO sound outdated…..they just say “oh this is modern day sound” but people are taking old sounds adding lofi and other effects and selling to us like it’s new….just being honest…..something like Sampletank, or Syntronik or Arturia just craps all over the play series….but NI is still the best when it comes to other stuff….like Lores, Saffron and some of the other stuff

@@GameWise214 I agree with you on that. Taking sounds enhanced them and then repackage to make it easier for the producer to use and make music. Great point. Both are Dope, Battery needs an update. ABSNYTH was very under-rated! They are both relevant in 2024 and beyond.

I totally agree family. But I think with the new integration of how they are doing Kontakt 8 they are slowly but surely phasing out Battery 4. Thr new NKS2 system is the new focus and it's driven by Kontakt. But no doubt Battery 4 and ESPECIALLY Absynth 5 are truly iconic instruments. I use Battery 4 a LOT. I find it quicker than Maschine and I can still use expansion kits. I have Absynth but I rarely use it. I keep telling myself I will, but just don’t get around to it. As far as the hater’s thing, a friend told me long ago, “people say a lot of shit, and I just say huh.” I told you before, I don’t need that kind of drama, so I don’t watch it. I have a lot of respect for you for doing what you do. It’s inspirational for me. You the man.
