Back-to-back Natlan releases?! That's right! Get ready for a spicy Salsa befitting the Nation of Fire! 💃🔥
Lately, I've been drawing inspiration from greats such as Willie Colón, Tito Puente, Héctor Lavoe, and Celia Cruz, so for my next release, I set out to create a Natlan-themed Salsa. I spent many hours immersing myself in the music, exploring its origins, and analyzing compositions. Of course, there's only so much one can learn and implement in a short timeframe. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to create something that sounded good and authentic while also reflecting my style and vision of Natlan.
