You complain about SEAD, but I don't see a single one of you dorks using any gun AA. Not a single ZU-23-2, not a single non-radar thing on the field. It's almost like you think this is Wargame or something. smh
Ahhh yes the Choking paradox. By being angry he becomes more angry (due to his hate for being angry) as a result of this he becomes even more angry until he is reminded he doesn’t like being angry. Upon this realisation he becomes more angry out of his anger of being angry. And then you win the game.EZ
The fact NATO side actually managed to lose despite having complete control over the skies and dying to a literal unarmored infantry push that would have stopped instantly if they had a single HIMARS volley ready is the closest Bo has ever gotten to an actual script, no way man
Not luck, mostly American complacency and Serbian forces pretty much using all the AA to target 1 plane. And hell, the SAM that hit... pinged the INSIDE of the open bomb bay
@@Inucroftso, yes, it was luck Because had the bomb bay not been open they wouldn't have been able to target it. Literally it was open for like a minute almost certainly much less, And it was just so happened to be at that very moment that they turned the radar back on. It was extreme amounts of luck. But just because it was lucky doesn't make it any less of a successful strike.
@@thomass2505Yeah, but again, the fact that the situation was even possible in the first place was because their entire air net was on high alert due to operatives watching the Nighthawks take off, those Nighthawks took the same route they always did, and NATO forces weren't running SEAD-ops that night. They did get lucky enough to ultimately pull off, so they can boast about it if they want. But considering the tech of the plane by the time it happened, it wasn't really the W they make it out to be, and the claim taken away from it that the low frequency radar setting helped the situation is quite comical.
@@Inucroft it was luck, the SAM lost lock immediately, a strong gust of wind coudlve pushed it far enough away. Also if NATO had been running SEAD that night the AA operator would be dead, since he didnt move. But the true moral of the story is that reconciliation is possible, as the f-117 pilot and the AA operator later became friends :D
The radar is tied to only the guns on the Tunguska, so you can turn it off and still use the missiles without being shot by SEAD. Also you need to screen your heavy AA with cheap IR AA or passive gun AA, like the ZSU-2-23 or the old Shilka, which also helps because the heavy AA only does 9 damage against generally 10 health planes, so 1 extra damage from some cannon fire, along with the suppression effect on the planes weapons from that, and it really makes a difference. Also planes cant really see things on the ground in WARNO as I understand it, so hunting down recon units helps, especially when all else fails.
Good points all around, though I personally haven't had much luck with the ZSU-2s. Tunguskas should only ever have their cannons on when engaging helis at close range, or if there is a massive furball overhead. Kinda surprised Bo wasn't running the Strela-10M3s, because they are pretty broken. 60% static or motion accuracy with 4 missiles able to be fired in quick succession to decent ranges makes an excellent screen. Tors shine in numbers as midline AA, if you have a 3-4 stack of them you are basically guaranteed a kill against anything short of a massive air campaign.
@@satomonster568 The Skrezhet specifically, its a good take, but any SPAAG will do the job, only needs to hit a few times to do the job, and they have long bursts so they normally do something, if youre lucky a crit which can be as good as a kill. It really depends what you have access to though but IMO in WARNO you really need to have a multi layered AA net if you dont want to sob under constant bombardment, or over invest into interceptors and ASF's.
@@canniballistic555Ah yeah, Skrezhets are great since they're a two-for one with iglas, but you don't really have a lot of choices beyond them with the VDV anyway. My issues lie moreso with the ground based ones some of the reservist decks like the KDA get, the motorized variants are pretty good, if short-ranged, issue is mainly that despite being two men on a flak gun it counts as a vehicle, so it can get instantly AT-d, shot with a tank, or even outranged and hellfired by Apaches.
If you guys ever want an even more chaotic, kinda hellish time try out Space's 1.5/2/3x scale conversion mods. They bump up spotting and engagement distances to be truly insane and make AA vastly more dangerous to aircraft. It's uh, not very easy to make it work well on smaller maps though ,as a warning.
Bo there was an Empire at War update that makes it 100x more stable on literally everything and additionally fixed a morbillion bugs + optimization Game is so much more playable in MP now
@@johnathonyoung4799 pretty sure its cause of the bit change, it was 32 bit before and now its 64, so it can draw more memory or something along those lines
Ngl im bingewatching these Warno videos cause i never really gave them a real shot and this game seems so much more fun than i thought. Would love if we got more 💪
It is a very decent rts game, the devs picked all the best features from their previous games and basically made Wargame 2 that is actually enjoyable to play.
I like how you lightly tag one of the 6 or 7 F-16s currently in the air and you just go into a complete Serbialarp with the whole WEDIDN'TKNOWTHEYWEREINVISIBLEWEDIDN'TKNOWTHEYWEREINVISIBLE shit as if its gonna have any impact on the rest of the battle lolll.
Bruh you were using the least experienced version of the Tunguska and were wondering why they were doing so bad? The unit experience in this game makes a night and day difference.
Bo did a really bad job of keeping his radar aa alive, and he’s fighting probably the best nato div for airspam. What bo needed to do was turn off his radar aa until the sead turns away or overflies so it cant fight back. Also, bo didnt help the situation by clustering all his aa in one spot as you can see them get hit by a ton of arty which reduces their accuracy even more. If you cant be bothered to micro your radar aa, you can always just pick the non radar aa units like strelas. They suffer from worse range and accuracy, but at the benefit of being invincible against HARMs
@@sturm9087 2, but unit variety is amazing. From drones to AC-130s. It's Russian and American. And unlike WARNO it actually feels like a proper sequel to Wargame. Unlike how WARNO feels like nothing more then a new paint
It needs a lot of work before it gets to somewhere good. There's something there, but the UI is god-awful, the servers are struggling, and they have no good system to squad up with your friends or get to play the deck you want to. I also feel the deck-builder could do with some work, as it is pretty tedious to get stuff as balanced as possible compared to Warno. It has definite potential though.
