Weird just seeing a place where you spent most of your childhood holidays on a random map 😂 There was a Camping place in Borken where my family went to. Good times.
Playing this campaign as NATO I fought two battles back to back with just that first division without losing a single morale point. The combo of Bradley's and Abrams was just unbeatable. Oh and of course artillery constantly on counter battery.
Something Braun and Swimmy are missing out on is that battalion of combat engineers. They get the napalm rocket arty. Let's just say that there's a reason why that one East German division only gets one card of those, with only one unit on that card.
I feel like its balanced, NATO starting with a small amount of powerful units woth reinforcements coming, WARSAW starting with a large amount of decent units that can easily overwhelm but no reinforcements coming
The DDR had about 2.1k T-55s and 500-600 T-72s. So, having units with T-55s is very much expected, altough if the unit represented in this particular game is supposed to be a elite or top of the line unit, than yes, being equipped with T-55s is a bit problematic. If the unit is supposed to be a reservist unit, than it's historically accurate
@@BelayaBirdy Because it's an East German mechanized infantry division. They did not receive top of the line tanks though they were given adequate ATGMs (in-game they receive the Konkurs which can do the job). All those T-72s you mentioned are represented in the 7th Panzerdivision which is in the game for the skirmish mode, but is not included in any of the campaigns yet. Keep in mind that for now the game is focusing on the Fulda Gap (the devs have stated a wish to branch out to other parts of a hypothetical WW3 eventually), so not all the units of the East German Army are represented.
@@BelayaBirdy You're playing specific units in the campaign. The PACT side here is mostly components of the east german 4. Mot.-Schützendivision and its Panzerregiment 4. Which never received T-72s.
