Germany never lost against Russia. Russia lost against Germany in 1917 so much so they stopped existing as an independent country, ending up as part of the soviet union. Germany then lost against the allies in WW2 which also included the Soviets. Russia against Germany would have been a walkover and Germany would have easily won. Germany against the entire Soviet Union would have been a difficult victory for Germany, but Germany against the allies, with the US sending entire armies worth of equipment to the Soviets under Lend-Lease, plus opening 2 other fronts in Africa/Italy and Normandy, that's where Germany lost.
