I realize that the high dose natto atherosclerosis study lacked a control arm, but given that pre and post dosing arterial wall blockage measurements were used, it seems to me that each subject acted as their own control. A physical measurement is a much better assessment than a softer criteria like suffering fewer heart attacks because other factors come into play.

The amount of nattokinase they use makes a big difference, a lot of these studies under dose in the studies. I take 22,000f/u a day 11,000 morning and night. NK has a half life of about 12 hours, you have to keep your blood saturation up or the gains are very small. It’s like cleaning a piece of iron in the morning and not putting a rust inhibiter on it by night it’s rusted again. it has absolutely reduced my atherosclerosis. I have the images to prove it. After a year I included 1,500,000 units of lumbrokinase twice a week with 500mg of Berberine morning and night. For angina the best thing is Ouabain. Also you need to be on what I call the trifecta A,D3, K2-Mk7. You need at least 380mcg of K2-Mk7 to have any real effect.

I don’t go by grams with nattokinase or lumbrokinase I go by f/u. I had a thrombosis from my ankle to my hip, was in the hospital for four days with four insertion sites along the leg pumping atp into my leg. The hospital said I’d reached my maximum on this treatment even tho some of the thrombosis was still there I went home and started taking approximately 33,000f/u though out the day and night. The leg hurt so bad I want to vomit every time I got up to urinate. After day two the pain was receding fast so to get the pressure off the leg I started walking chest deep in my pool, and starting on lumbrokinase at the same time. I threw the blood thinners away. Nattokinase has an action that stops inflammation and pain very fast. In a week that leg was 99% normal, I went back for a scan a month later and they couldn’t see any signs of clots at all. They told me I’d probably be on blood thinners the rest of my life, HA. This a front line treatment for thrombosis and blood clots in Japan. I have taken this protocol for two years now and feel great. I’m 75. BTW I have a background in microbiology. I know how to read research it’s my hobby in my retirement years, I pay for and use Ai in my research to go thru hundreds of research papers ever year. I have developed a protocol for CVD and atherosclerosis that works I’m my own lab rat.

The name nattokinase comes from the Japanese word nattōkin (納豆菌), which is the name for Bacillus subtilis var natto. Nattokinase is an enzyme found in the sticky part of natto, a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans and Bacillus subtilis. In 1980, Japanese researcher Hiroyuki Sumi discovered that natto could dissolve artificial fibrin and extracted an enzyme from it that he named "nattokinase". As it is not a 'kinase', some pronounce it nuttOkines.

I can only attest to the benefits of Nattokinase anecdotally. One important thing to note is that Nattokinase is destroyed by stomach acid. I think that is the reason why higher doses are useful. At a high dose some smaller percentage will survive to make it to the bloodstream. I use Nattokinase in conjunction with Natto. The reason is that I will have to eat took much Natto to get the 12,000 fu I need. Natto at this dose will add to much calories to my diet and lead to weight gain. Natto has a slime matrix which preserves the nattokinase from stomach acid and survives it the passage intact. I mix 8000 fu nattokinase powder with 100 grams natto( probably aroung 1400fu/day). I make the natto myself to keep cost down. I can only say how Natto/ Nattokinase has helped me overcome many health problems. The list of benefits are much too long to enumerate here.

I think it’s a little healthier to eat as a food source rather than as a supplement because it has protein, vitamins K2, minerals, probiotics , nutrient synergy, and fermentation benefits. I’ve been eating this daily for the last year for the following possible benefits: 1. **Cardiovascular Health**: Helps reduce blood pressure and dissolves blood clots. 2. **Bone Health**: Rich in vitamin K2, which supports bone density. 3. **Digestive Health**: Contains probiotics that improve gut health. 4. **Immune Support**: Enhances immune system function.

My own Anecdotal Experience with CAC score results done by a radiologist who had no access to my medical chart (I paid outside of my health care at Kaiser). June 7, 2017 CAC 107 Cholesterol 216 August 5, 2019 CAC 193 Cholesterol 117 Had taken atorvastatin and K2, D3, magnesium for two years. Possibly had been taking bromelain July 2, 2021 CAC 164 Cholesterol 249 Had stopped the atorvastatin but kept taking K2, D3, magnesium for two years. July 10, 2023 CAC 292 Cholesterol 218 Unfortunately I took a tablespoon of lecithin every day for two years to lower cholesterol. I found out later that lecithin may lower your cholesterol but it increases you TMAO which causes plaque. Did not take bromelain. I now take K2, D3, magnesium, and bromelain. My cholesterol at the blood bank in May 2024 was 197. K2, D3, and magnesium without anything to lower cholesterol DID decrease by CAC score from 193 to 164 in two years. It could be the bromelain. But I'm sticking with the K2. K2 MK-7 100 Mcg

Don't worry about cholesterol being high. It's essential for life. If you want to lower cholesterol, then eat 12 oreo cookies a day for 2 weeks... yep it's absurd thing to do but 2x effective as a statin. But equally pointless. For your lipid panel focus on having high HDL and low Triglycerides. LDL Cholesterol ( ldl is just a transporter) only becomes an issue if you are eating sugars, refined carbs or vegetable oils.. all of which cause inflammation. Im no dr but there are plenty here on RU-vid explaining the plaque formation mechanism and blaming LDL is like blaming the firemen for the fire.. because they are always there. Statins are poison and serve no purpose but generate billions every year

Definitely dosing, and duration too. Over a period of a year - how about 5 years of that dosing? The dosing is pretty high for effective arterial clearing and people should take that with caution as it is a blood thinner. Don't take too high of doses and don't take with other blood thinners. I don't think it's a strong blood thinner, but at high doses it likely is. I think a big part is having the blood "non sticky" for a long period, and the existing sticky slowly dissolves out. Another big one is omegas, oc. Getting flaxseed oil or hempseed oil in your diet..., or just hte seeds themselves. oc, omegas can be blood thinners too, especially fish oil (not sure of the others), so be careful with combining omegas with nattokinase (especially if in high doses). Oh, and getting the toxins out - and exercise - get your body looking for food - it will find some in your arteries. And Chanca Piedra - but not on same day. It's another blood thinner... Pomegranates have something that reduces plaque. And staying adequate in B vitamins

I had several very experienced staff try and draw blood with 14 pokes in all. I am usually a 1 poke guy and good to go. Also, I noticed BP numbers dropping 10 points. The dosing of Natto is as important as when it is taken and the overall diet of the person in question. It is recommended that Natto be taken 20-30 (or longer) minutes before meals or 2-3 hours after. When taken with food it becomes a digestive supplement and most likely would diminish its heart and blood circulation benefits. A person diet rich in sugars and carbohydrates would definitely impact the benefits of taking Natto as this diet triggers artery inflammation. In order to really fully understand the benefits of natto a control group would need to follow the same diets, Natto dosing amounts and timing of the dosing relative to meals.

There is another study showing atherosclerosis reversal from nattokinase. Search for the title "A clinical study on the effect of nattokinase on carotid artery atherosclerosis and hyperlipidaemia" which uses a dose of 6000FU and compares nattokinase to a statin. It probably needs to have more participants but it's certainly data to be considered. I think it also has a couple of the scientists in the positive study you mention in the video involved with it, which is another important factor. However, I think you should check this one out - it may support the idea that the issue is the dose.

@@ohbaby-baby It needs to be duplicated by other scientists, not the same ones. @ohbaby-baby
@ohbaby-baby Месяц назад
@@jasonbromano No, It was clear. And it would be better if other people did the experiment. But it is so rare, that researchers would repeat the same study, using appropriate doses. In both studies they showed, under 3,600 FU's had no effect, and almost all studies on Nattokinase are using doses under that threshold. Yes the authors have ties to a nattokinase pharma company. Sungen is the original research and production enterprise of nattokinase in China. We have nothing like this here in the US. It is a medicinal there. Could you imagine Big Pharma getting behind Nattokinase? It would wipe out there biggest seller (statins). And it should be noted, no one questions the work of these authors. Both studies were peer reviewed and published in established medical journals. Even with the conflicts in interest. Nick questions this. But here's my question. Why is it the majority of studies done in the west, employed very conservative doses? When there is no level of toxicity ever found with Nattokinase? So like Nick said in this video,.... who do you believe? Studies in the west, going out of their way to show no effect using low doses,... or,.... Companies studying a product that is used medicinally in all of Asia, the largest continent on earth? Just look at all the ancedotal reports in this comment section, when using the proper amounts. What about the calories? Even though something is “good” for you doenst mean you can eat large amounts. Olive oil is also good for you but is also high in calories so it’s a problem. It’s about finding the sweet spot and this is why supplementation is crucial. We simply can’t eat each and every food that is “good” for us everyday or we would be consuming too many calories, whether they’re “good” or not. Then weight becomes an issue.
