I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in 2000. Shortly later, I started seeing information tying the risk of osteoporosis to Grave's Disease. Even after I was diagnosed with Osteopenia in my late twenties, several Endocrinologist didn't listen to me; denied the connection...Now, I have full blown osteoporosis. More doctors need to keep up with research and not be so dismissive!
I’m listening to video at this time so maybe you address this. Are there any supplements that people with Grave’s disease such as myself should avoid? Is quercitin, resvertol ok specifically. I know no iodine. Thanks for sharing your knowledge:)
I don't know any offhand but you can go to the Institute for Functional Medicine and see the practitioners in NYC. That is a good way to start and many of them treat Grave's Disease. www.ifm.org/find-a-practitioner/ . You can also work with a medical doctor and consult Dr. Osansky - staff@naturalendocrinesolutions.com .
