something that ive used to help my dog is i started giving them psyllium husk power mixed with water until it turns into a gel . then add something for flavor like chicken or sweet patatos. psyllium is a soluable fiber so it goes right through you . but it also binds to waste in the digestive trac . i was replacing a meal 3 time a week and my dogs was removing black rubbery intestinal plaque . they both lost 5 pounds fast and their stomachs weren't round looking any more . and they are way more active. their poop will be solid but very soft.

I have 3 male cats; all are on a raw food diet. One is 10 and he's always had hard to very hard stools. He will often soil outside the litter box (I have 5 boxes in different locations around the house.) What can help him. He was a rescue so I don't know his history.

Thank you!! I suspect my girl has IBD. After a while I’m adding in ion gut. She’s had pancreatitis and CDiff and 5 rounds of flagyl this year. I’m also considering fecal transplant because her animal biome came back with very low beneficial bacteria. I’m adding in runs be gone, and animal biome’s s.boulardii+FOS, what prebiotic should be used with that if I’ll be using runs be gone when symptomatic? Have you mentioned using beneficial nematode spray for your yard and garden to rid the yard of fleas and ticks? Several companies sell nematodes that keep your dogs and cats safe the natural way.
HELP!!! My cats are raw fed. They have had diarrhea for months. One does have mucus. I've tried probiotics & detoxes. We currently live with mold. I'm trying to get us to a safe home. One vet wanted to use anti diarrhea meds but that's not treating the underlying issue. If my cats have diarrhea to get rid of the toxins I don't think the anti diarrhea will help. The other vet wanted to try antibiotics however they don't know what ones are safe for mold toxicity. I had reactions myself to several antibiotics that were given to me and I am worried about giving them to my cats. I'm very worried. I can't seem to find any vets that are experienced with mold in cats. Please help!! 😭😭😭

Hi Dr. My 13 years old collie has IBD and has been on bland diet (chicken and rice) for almost a year. I am worried to switch his protein or carbs. He doesn't do well on pumpkins or sweet potatoes. We had been to the vet a few times and all the test came back negative. When he was on antibiotics and steroids', he did well but once the med were taken off, the diarrhea reappeared. Our vet has no other suggestions and I didn't want to put him on antibiotics for a long period of time. I had tried slippery elm for a few months and it yielded good result at the beginning. Lately, it hasn't worked and a friend of mine suggested Bentonite Clay. Any thoughts on that?

Hi, I have a cat with ibd and just started him on RX digestive clay (amazon took 1 day) that’s the name of it. Read the reviews, ive done a ton of research and for $16 I think it’s worth a try. I know it won’t fix the problem completely but the reviews do give me hope. I will report back . I know how stressful this is!
