I make my pets tea all the time, especially dandelion, root, and leaf tea. That is my go to tea for them. Sometimes I give them all the teas like maybe a little bit of ginger tea. If they’re feeling really stressed, I give them lemon balm and chamomile and lavender tea. It’s all one tea. And I make them their own bone broth because you can’t put any onions in and they brought and in the bone broth I had herbs and spices like parsley Bayleaf couple of cloves, a little piece of ginger and time I had it in a bowl board with carrots and sometimes if I have it a little bit of celery. That’s how I make it on chicken as well. I actually make them homemade chicken soup without any onions in it and the same vegetables and spices. I also give them some dog kibble to make sure they get all the extra vitamins in and minerals and I don’t give them anything with grains. And I’ve been doing that for over 12 years. They seem to like it. I gave them Kiefer I give him a little bit of apple cider vinegar with water. I spray them with apple cider vinegar solution to keep the fleas off in their furnace and soft. And my German Shepherd loves fermented vegetables like carrots and sauerkraut. She eats everything and I don’t have to force her to do anything. She even eats raw vegetables, carrots, and she sometimes I give her some apple. My little Yorky loves broccoli, so when I make broccoli, he eats it all up and sodas, my German Shepherd. I treat them as if they’re my children and they are so amazing and they are so well behaved and they are such pleasant company. Thank you for your knowledge. Thank you for the detailed overview. For my CAT w/ outdoor access in the San Diego area, seems like summer months are worth covering for (when temps are above 57 degrees day/night for a few months). I'm torn between (my vet recommended) Revolution + and Intercept tablets this video recommends.
My heart feels sick that those useless “studies” on those beagles was used to make more money promoting the same Metronidazole drug as if it was new. I adopted 2 stray cats and my Beagle got into their food and litter box, he developed symptoms of Garcia and the cats eventually drank from his water bowl. I asked my vet for tyrosine powder when the dog first showed symptoms and was put off with excuses three times. Now all three animals have it. I am not using the medicine or testing from the vet. I will pursue another method and buy a surface steam cleaner instead of bleaching everything.
My cat has a middle ear infection with fluid behind his eardrum, he has had antibiotics and a course of prednisone, we are now a month further the only thing that has improved is his balance, I had to start such a cure right away to save him, but I am normally also of the natural and holistic way. One caution with the water fountain. I had one for my cat and when it came time to clean the small gears in the device that creates the fountain it was coated with a slimy film that was really hard to remove. I ended up going back to just a bowl because at least that is easy to clean. Also with reverse osmosis and distilled minerals should be added back. My RO system has a re-mineralization filter so hopefully that will suffice.
I know this video is 3 years old but my dog absolutely hates water. She turns into a vicious demon when any water is put on her. Would I be able to use a waterless pet shampoo to get the diatomaceous earth off her fur & skin?
My cat doesn't have ear mites or an ear infection, his ears are clean but he twitches and shakes his head and ears all the time. What would be causing that? I thought he might have an allergy; he doesn't eat kibble or canned cat food. I make all his food so I'll know what goes in it. He's a year old and he has had this 8 months out of 12. He doesn't seem to be in pain, just annoyed. He doesn't claw or scratch at his ears, he just twitches them. I have switched up and taken out everything I thought might be the cause but I'm at my wit's end, I don't know where to go from here. I would love to hear any ideas that anybody might have. Do I need to add minerals back into RO water? Would that make the water more alkaline? Is that bad for dogs to drink alkaline water but they also need those healthy mineral though. So confusing!!!😢

so for the 4th of July I wrapped a winter scarf around my dogs ears-to protect against noise and I gave him a spoonful of vanilla ice cream mixed with chamomile tea and it worked out pretty good, I thought I would share this in case anyone has an animal who is scared of the noise of fire works.

Our cat doesn’t have any symptoms of an infection but we’ve been trying to get a reduction in ear wax without success using a healthy solution. We have not made mechanical attempts other than the drops and massage for about 3 weeks. She does like the base of her ears rubbed and rubs her ears on objects at times.She suddenly stopped hearing. We think one ear got plugged with wax and then the other one got plugged. She seems to be having problems with low mucosa in general, struggling at times with eliminating stool and her eyes were producing a light clear mucosa discharge but that has pretty much stopped. She is eating, drinking, and peeing normally. She is not showing increased distress or sensitivity. We are using some ox bile and slippery elm to help with stools and that has been beneficial. We’ll try the apple cider but nothing has worked so far including coconut oil. Again there is no infection.
My Sadie 🐕 got fixed at around 6months old, the Veterinary Dr. Never mentioned bladder leakage, Hormones & not fulling development of bladder ? Ive tried corn silk, flax seed What can i use for a Hormones to balance to help, thank You

Esmeralda and i found eachother on the beach in mexico. She was lost and alone hungry and scared. I whistled for her to fillow me home. She loved the other dogs and brought so much love and life to this little house on the beach. She stared and watched my every move all morning day and night. Waiting for our next walk or just to throw trash down the stairs. She brought me more joy and meaning of life. She comforterd me she listened to me she loved me for ME. I felt like i knew her for a lifetime. I walked to the store one night, naturally she eanted to go. I said NO Stay here Esmeralda age looked down and walked away as she did when i said no stay. As i turned the corner to the house there was her lifeless little helpless body on the sandy road. I screamed ran off and cried. My bf took care of her body. I feel so much guilt i mever should have went to the store, why didnt i just pick her up and take her with me like i usually did? I feel so much guilt and sadness in my heart for her. She was full of life and loved to swim in the ocean shes gone now because of a car carelessly turning the corner smashed her little body. Neighbor told me he heard a dog cry at that time. Was she looking for me still in front of the house 😢 its been 72 hours and im devastated still i miss you so much Esmeralda RIP baby girl
'm going to order DL-Methionine and add it to their raw . Or add extra to the pet store urinary can food. DL-Methionine is the acidifier in the vet food. The vet food uses cheap by product meats such as pork. I believe my cat is allergic to pork but doesn't matter to vets. If vets don't see you buying and feeding them the vet only food they will blame and shame you if your cat gets ANY urinary issues.
