I must say growing up I always wanted more easily, manageable textured hair. I’m now 51. I always loved seeing women rock natural hair. I felt it looked good on everyone but me. I used to say I don’t have good hair and I can’t do it.🤦🏾‍♀️ I’m currently natural and my hair feels fuller due to not having a perm. I love to see healthy, moisturized and voluminous hair. My profile picture is from 2019. I always loved my pixie cut and I do miss it cause it was easy to maintain and there was more versatility. My current length is shorter than Florida Evans Afro. So it’s the in between stage. I use the sponge to add some texture. You make styling your hair so easy. I’ve got to get used to styling it.😊

I love natural hair! I'm soo sick and tired of seeing natural hair covered up, damaged and even destoryed from wigs and weaves. Yes, if you cover your hair and don't let it have sun or air or even water for 3 months it will not do well. I've heard women say they are protecting their hair, yet they never show it after they protected it. So many women have ripped hair out of their head and permanently made themselves bald in many areas or even fully from horrible wigs and weaves. The damage is horrible! So love your hair! It looks a MILLION times better than some fake hair! I am not black but I come from a background which gave me extremely course hair and an afro if I don't tame it. It has taken a lot of taming and a lot of time every week to make it not be a legit afro. Now it's almost 30 feet long and I love it! Even if all I could have was an afro I'd rock it instead of a wig. I love my hair! I've never dyed it or put a single chemical on it. I take a lot of time to make it how I want it and it's like 90 minutes twice a week.
