Here’s my Natural Hair Care Routine video! I’ve had lots of questions about my routine since uploading my 1 Year Natural Hair Growth / Check Update video, so thought I’d share it in today’s video. Let me know if you have any questions 😊
I like that you keep it simple. Not using 50 products, just the ones you've identified that works well for you. These products are expensive and when one becomes a product junky how can you even tell which one is working and which one is not. Thanks, this was a good video!
Thanks, glad you liked it 😊 Yep, that’s one of the things I mention in my ‘How NOT to be a hair product Junkie video’, that using too many products makes it difficult to know what works, from what doesn’t.
I am BEYOND excited that i finally found a RU-vidr with my hair type!!!!! I have 4b/4c hair and have such a hard time retaining moisture (which is prolly y my hair is growing slowly). This video is EXTREMELY helpful ! Thaaaaannnnxxx!!!
You’re so welcome! Happy you found my page 🤗 Definitely check out my other videos. You’ll probably find this one useful for moisturising your hair; bit.ly/2OvAvox
Thanks for your continued encouragement. I made the decision to go natural April '17 and I chopped my relaxed ends in 2 stages as I know I could not manage very short hair. I must say I have enjoyed every step of the way. I now mainly put my hair in high puff. All thanks to you. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great routine you have some great products I love using natural hair products on my hair even though I am relaxed because it gives me that extra moisture that my hair needs I am really leaning toward using shea moisture products because they really receive my hair very well thank you so much for sharing God bless you💕🙏
You’re very welcome! 😊 Yeah, there’s so many great products out there and once you find them and have a good routine in place, it makes managing the hair a lot easier.
This video is so SIMPLE and promotes inexpensive products, thank you so much! What protein conditioner would you recommend for someone experiencing breaking?
Glad to hear it! 😊 As mentioned in my video, I moisturise twice a day. You can look up The Inversion Method or Greenhouse Effect, both are supposed to increase hair growth. But I’d always recommend following a consistent healthy hair care routine which will certainly provide you great results.
I am trying for hbd third time to grow my natural Afro hair it’s been hard because I currently live in Australia and no black hair hairdresser in my area and I am struggling to find black hair products here I am going to try looking in the USA for some of these products so hopefully I keep my natural hair and not go back to relaxing it 😀tfs
Hello Healthy Afro Hair. I am new to your channel. First of all thank you for the info, I have high porosity hair and I feel that I am still learning about my hair. I have a question..when you use the ORS conditioner with heat, do you rinse and style or do you add more conditioner? Hope to hear from you soon.
Hey, you’re welcome! So after washing & deep conditioning, I rinse out the conditioner, before applying the leave-in conditioner (which you don’t wash out) then detangle & style.
I have a new video coming soon with some new products, so make sure you subscribe to channel to get notified when it goes up. I go into detail on everything.
Sounds like you may have low to medium porosity. In terms of drying time, yes length would have a part to play, so if you’re hair was longer, it would take longer to dry.
Try experimenting with different brands. Here’s a few which are quite good; Cantu, Mielle Organics, Aunt Jackie’s, The Mane Choice, TGIN, Kera Care & ASIAM.
Thank you 😊 Oh...that’s ok. I’ve more or less had the same routine throughout my entire hair journey (including relaxed hair days) so it can work for both.
