I will be taking you along the journey of getting my hair trimmed and styled at Jakari J Salon (Ig: @jakarijsalon) in Queens, New York. It was not only my first time at this salon, but it was also my first time getting my hair done professionally in years. I have been struggling to find a natural hair salon in New York City for years because I wanted one that was not only professional but affordable. I booked an appointment a week prior with Ashli to wash, hydration treatment, trim, and rod set my hair. My experience at Jakari J was very relaxing(minus the dryer). I also loved how my hair turned out as it was very soft, and the curls were defined yet still big. If you are in the area and looking for a natural hair salon, I highly recommend checking them out.
