Sis, I started watching your videos very recently because I just like your personality. I don't know anything about high fashion so I do blank stare the screen sometimes. I like to see how people put outfits together then I go and find pieces in my Target price range and size. I have learned a lot about these companies from you. If I ever choose to buy a luxury item I'm definitely watching everything you post on them. I would much rather spend my dollars on an ethical company with the least amount of foolishness as possible. Like you I don't agree all white people are racist but an uneducated white person can pose some serious problems that I generally have zero time nor energy for.

I do recall that actually. I was at a dinner last night with a few fashion editors and we discussed this topic of her calling jewelry ghetto and bursted out laughing because I said “you know a lot of people from around the world don’t always have the words and think using certain words to describe us (outside of the n word) is correct” and i started saying it in a French accent so we have to remember places outside of AMERICA don’t always have black exposure or someone to manage understanding and teaching correct terminology. Carrie on sex in the city (the last season in Paris) called her own name necklace on the show ghetto gold….. a white woman from across the globe may take that and say ohh it’s called ghetto jewelry?? I love ghetto jewelry too?? And not realize she’s using a term that’s offensive for her to use against blacks and even Jewish ppl! And the editors agreed (black men at that) there’s many layers in many of these issues. A lot of teachable moments even though at first glance it comes across racial. Do i make sense ?
