I am planning on getting a hamster sometime soon but first I want to do my research before getting one so I can properly take care of her/him. I do know that they need a large cage and a lot of bedding so they can burrow, also learned about sand bath and more stuff. After learning about the necessities, I been searching on how I could make the set up to look like and I want to make it look like a natural habitat. I was wondering if it was dangerous for the hamster if I did a small and slow automatic fountain leading to the water bowl. This was an idea just to make the set up look nice, but I want to make sure if it is dangerous or not, or should just do a simple water bowl instead?
