Espresso is ADORABLE!! I have been very lucky when adopting hamsters. The SPCA & Humane Society where I usually rescue all of my hamsters from, both put hamsters on a pregnancy watch before they are able to go up for adoption.

Years ago I got a hamster off craigslist. A few weeks later there were tiny pink beans in the corner of her cage 😐 she had 13 babies and it was a nightmare. Once the babies starting moving around I had to clean a bunch and then separate them after a few weeks. I was so glad when the last one found its home 😅

We have a large hamster intake upcoming (a litter and their parents), and we are anticipating a pregnancy watch for the females. The litter is over a month old, and I do not know if they have been with males. This is very informative.

Espresso is so chill! 😂 I wish I would've had this video when my hamster was pregnant (she came from a pet store) but sadly I didn't know anything and she did end up eating all her pups. On the flip side, I was able to put my focus on her and improving her care, since I didn't have 11 other hams to care for! 🫣

Why do you put a other hamster in this cage and why are u stealing the stuff from other ? Doesnt they have different smelles ?!!

i got kindersuprise, literally. i was one. now new girl joined family and is pregnant. 🫣 smell is everything, no idea when Navia will go into labour, but changing bedding before it is too late. got some idea at store i "worked" for free. getting bins will take up so much willpower and logistics to not get broke. the bedding as well... please, Navia, just keep 3, rest can be abondend. it's cruel to think that, but optional removal is nessesery.
