I had discovered about this fitness program from the Art of Manliness article. I can really agree and better likely for myself to join this particular fitness program because the word strongman has also a similar meaning to the fitness in reality. But then you guys also talk about the adaptation a lot. I also need this adaptation myself too, like using the fundamental movements in everyday life of being able to hunt, work, eat, run, escape, and move from point a-b. As a avid illustrator, I might find myself right for this training. I need more than a strength, knowledge, and adaptability. I also want to work with a tools around me at an disposal. Even a city guy like me, I am willing to use the training methods discussed in the movnat program. But the program like this, if I can relate to things I've learned. Before building civilization, we were originally nomads. I can relate this timeline as a ice age transitioning to stone age. Also to mention about this nomad is applicable to this program as well. I appreciate this program's perspective in authenticity and traditionalism.
Why doesn't this become as popular as crossfit, Crossfit is great but this is way better! There should be more gyms that cater for this and they should be as readily available as crossfit boxes (gyms). Why not have move nat available as part of a crossfit gym. A crossfit gym could quite easily be modified to include mov nat. I believe the two would go quite well together!
