Hello, I did install a means to flush it, but haven’t had a need. The air stones do need to be replaced periodically. Maybe once a year or so.

@@chrisyoung5721 Is that because they get plugged? I ask because I seen a DIY system that you create using only PVC without the need of air stones.

Yes, because the pores are small. The benefit is they create very small bubbles which help with surface tension of the water which creates more flow.

Hi, went with the HP80. But I now have 3 of them so I’d suggest go bigger if possible. Yes, the perf pipe is 3”

How big would you recommend?

Bigger the better.
