Crazy story about Cali. Glad you ladies made it back safely. I love the short on being a natural, I think you nailed it all! Janet is just one of the best! I thought the same about minimizing heat although my hair can take it well. I do it once a week on wash day only but I am thinking of natural styles that have a consistent turn out to do this spring and summer to give my hair a little break. What is a good cream for twists? I have tried natural hairstyles in the past and my hair wasnt liking them. Thats why I blowdry on wash day and flatiron only 1 inch at the roots not the entire hair) and the rest of hair I add my mousse and permrods. But I would like to explore other options that exclude heat. I do not plan on giving up heat because then hair can damage faster if one choose to use it again down the road. Blessings~
