I think if you tried it again on very damp to wet hair and use a little more product you would see it’s full potential. But it still looks great the way that you did it.
Your hair looks great!!❤ The Doux mousse and the Big Poppa gel are my two staples for a wash and go. My wash n go’s have lasted for 3-4 days using the gel & mousse (separately)! So far the best, longest lasting, products I’ve used for a wash n go that doesn’t leave me hair feeling too crunchy or stiff. Oh and the Bonita Afro Balm texture cream is awesome too!! ✨
I’ve been using mousse for years. Tressemme flawless curls line is my top fave! Mousse is mostly air so you’re not really using a huge amount. Love it!!!
I use Doux pop Lock wash go 5 Day forming glaze that do well for my hair. I also used they gel I love it and it gives me a lot of definition love your hair is beautiful 👍🏾☺️
This stuff is the holy grail!!! I use this and only this for every wash and go and occasionally to coil my ends if I’m doing twists. It works so well and shortens my W&G styling time so much on my thick hair.
This is my favorite product. Been using it for a month. Have never been able to do a wash and go but this product allows me to. Love that I can only use one product and be done.
Hey girl, they suggest you use in shower with really wet hair. You don't need any gel with it. However, you can use with mousse def gel and it seems to be a good combination. Your hair looks really good though.
Your results are amazing! 😍 I have yet to achieve a successful wash and go and this is the exact product I purchased for my latest attempt, however, I gave up and did a twist out when my first section didn’t seem to be responding to the mousse at all. Maybe there was an issue with my technique. After watching this I’m inspired to give it another try! Hope you enjoyed the movie too!
Thank you!! Yeah give it another shot. Or try pairing the mousse with another product like a gel. That may work better. I know someone else recommended using the mousse on wet hair instead of damp. Just a few suggestions. And thank you! The movie was amazingggg! 💜🙌🏾
I also have to have the gel on certain sections of my hair. The curls in the back are fine mousse only but these gray and cranky hairs in the top need gel to hold them together.
Love the Doux , my curls are on point with Big poppa. One product. The products require soakin wet hair using the Gel. I love the mousse as well.. one and done
I absolutely love this product and I’ve been using for the past two weeks and I won’t back to the other products, however I did try it on dry hair yesterday and it was not it! It dries too fast and I couldn’t comb through my hair lol😅 but other than that 10/10 for wash and gos
No water (or not enough), not enough mousse and not getting your roots. Those are the key things in a wash n go and it looks like you are missing all of those key things. I'm still watching and hoping for you that it works out but I don't know because the key things matter.
