Natural Woman: Backstage at "Beautiful" with Jessie Mueller, Episode 1: Opening Night! 

I really love how she geeks out over meeting Sara Bareilles and now she's in Waitress.

"I got to meet Sara Bareilles (WAT)" ..... Then she goes on to star in Sara's Broadway debut. Gosh! Things like this are too perfect!

Jessie Mueller and Idina Menzel are considered the most down to earth Broadway divas ever. Happy Jessie won the Tony this year and besides Idina already won for Wicked. In common, they're funny, they're powerhouse betters, and super down to eath.

The fact she talked about meeting Sara and geeking out. And now she's the lead in Waitress, the irony.

Abby was in Kinky Boots and now she's playing Carole on tour? Seriously what is it about these sisters and jukebox musicals? They're so freakishly talented. I just saw Abby play Carole on tour and I was like "HOLY CRAP WHY IS THERE SO MUCH TALENT IN ONE FAMILY LINE?!?!"

I love how normal and humble Jessie seems! It's so cute that she fan girls over meeting famous people (which is exactly what I would do if I ever met Jessie!). And how funny that she is now great friends with Sara Bareilles and performing in Waitress!

Broadway stardom is the pinnacle of rewards deserved. You can't fake it. There is no lip synching or auto tuning. It's the difference between being an NFL star and playing the Madden NFL video game. If you can't cut it then you don't have a shot on Broadway. In an age where some people make millions without any recognizable talent whatsoever, Broadway reminds us of what used to be. When people who were "stars" had it and deserved being called that.

I'm just gunna wait patiently for Jessie Waitress vlogs... **sweats**

i was 14 years old when i purchased the piano vocal score of "it might as well rain until september". this allowed me to reproduce a passable facsimile of the number - which i could otherwise hear only in my head - after the song virtually disappeared from the radio and the record stores. nobody else seemed to even remember the song - which made it all the more special to me. i still get a thrill every time the song pops up on my ipod. not many songs do that to me any more. thanks Carole King.

Aw, I miss this! Time for a rewatch. Broadway vlogs are the BEST! Ps: WTF Jessie Mueller. She had a pimple one day and then it was gone the next. Tell me your secrets. Bless me with as beautiful skin as that.
