Join me today as I try my hand at naturally fermenting pickles. I have made pickles for 25 plus years with a vinegar brine solution and hot water canning methods. I truly enjoy fermented foods and love the gut benefits I receive from eating them. So I thought now was the time to ferment cucumbers in my Ohio Stoneware 1 gallon crock. RECIPE
4to 5 lbs of cucumbers
small head of garlic
3 TBS Dill weed Dry
6 TBS Dill seed dry
3 bay leaves
3 liters 10% Salt Brine (3L filtered water + 1 1/3 C Salt -sea or canning salt)
