I was a project kid in South Boston. This song held so many truths and it was so inspiring to hear the realness of that life. I was lucky to get out of that life but I'll never forget the impact this song had.

And even though Queen Latifah brought this group out they were 2 Pac's God brothers and stomping buddies for life, Trech was likeike Tyson knocking out grown men in his teens! And the knowledge these brothers had to put in a records was wild. Other favorites was "Hot Potato" ft Freddie Fox and "Yoke The Joker". I grew up in Elizabeth nj. Next to Newark where NBN are from. That whole state situation Was like the front of that building. Race wars, blacks,Haitians,Hispanics, white etc. Wherever you was from acted like that. Had to be on your toes 24/7. Watch that movie NJ drive. Love you content.

I love this song just for the calling out the toxic positivity. I hate hearing people say "Just think positive". Dude, if someone makes it to Treach age they have been as positive as possible already. Who are they to say someone is not already positive. Damn.

By the accent in the saints logo rocking in the background I could tell that you're probably from New Orleans, or at least the Louisiana area. With that being said you should definitely check out and react to Master P's 1994 the ghetto's trying to kill me song. But if you grow up in New Orleans or Louisiana I'm pretty sure there ain't much Master P you ain't heard LOL, but that song has a similar message and it's just as deep and is really relatable to me personally as well.
