When I read the title, I was like “This dog swallowed a violin string? Hope that metal string didn’t do any major damage” but then I realized which G string it was.

When I first got my dog, he immediately went for my laundry. Ever since then, I keep my laundry away from him. Thank you for the public service announcement.

You know you’ve got a strong stomach when you can continue eating supper while watching a dog vomit lol

For non-Australians completely confused... a G-string is a thong. We call flip-flops thongs so we have a different name for the underwear. :)

My beagle ate a sock once,at 1am.. my wife started freaking out, so i put her in my sports car and took her to a winding road in the alps for a "spirited" drive...in less than 5mins she barfed it up.

I started this asking "what is a g-string?" And seeing how embarrassed she was and something about the laundry I knew

Poor Ava thought the G-String was cotton candy. So happy she was able to bring it up. She sure is a beautiful pup!!💗🐶💗

I consider myself to be a very blessed fur Mommy. I have a beautiful Labrador who for the first two years of his life had a passion for socks and rocks. I know it sounds like a dr. Seuss story. In Luke's time he ate seven rocks all at one time, two pairs of rolled-up socks and 3 single socks. I couldn't understand where he kept finding my socks I was being so careful and then I realized he was following me into the laundry room and sneaking up behind me when I put the laundry basket on the floor. Thank god with the help 3% peroxide and everything coming out on its own we made it through. He did grow out of it and it's now been four years since he consumed anything that he wasn't given. If your puppy don't give up hope because for the larger percentage it's something they grow out of.

Nice job as always, and naughty cute spaniel. Unlike most aggressive small dogs, I like working with spaniels, they're generally pretty calm patients.

For dogs 🐩 🐕 🐶 their hoomans scent is most concentrated in their groin and feet. So panties and socks 🧦 are wanted by the dogs 🐶 🐕 🐩

It amazes me that owners never seem to learn pr even realise just how ferocious dogs appetites are. They will, literally, inhale anything! And most dogs don't grow out of it, they just switch their prey target. My nephew's puppy ate rocks. I know someone with a puppy who ate two socks, from different pairs! Leading to a partial solution as to why so many socks only have one of the pair. Dogs eat ANYTHING, up to and including things like rat bait, ooh yum says the dog, I'm going to have me a bit of that. They also eat poop, their own or any other dogs poop. And if they vomit and you're not fast, they will eat that too. So be warned, a dog is not a simple pleasurable pet, they come with all sorts of health warnings about their eating and behavioural issues. Do your research!! Some dogs are less prone to these problems. Lock everything up that might be edible and also those things that aren't edible. Train your dog to recognise the 'leave it' command. Dogs brains don't differentiate between food and non edible items, and they don't learn from mistakes. Their brains work on impulses which change from moment to moment. You might think Ava will connect swallowing the thong to the unpleasan act of being made to vomit, but unlike humans who remember such things, dogs don't. Ava will have forgotten the thong even after she vomited it up. She won't make the connection at all. So she'll grow up to be a repeat offender unlock you lock stuff up.

There has got to be a nutritional problem. My seven dogs never eat strange things. We feed them high nutrition, mostly raw, food. They do eat “disgusting” finds on our farm, but they are all edible!
