Chris's face at 17:44 has me dying when he asked "who's dad?" And also. The baby puppies crying got me to tears of my own. Such precious puppies!

Jeanette was so sweet when she put her hand on Chris’s face like that, it meant more than a lot of words could, and he was honest when she asked if that last bit was hard. It was still professional, but there wasn’t a need to put on a strong front of “I’m a vet, it’s all okay.” It was emotional and heartbreaking but also really wonderful and just them two (and Bindi) fighting it out together. Nice to see a softer side sometimes. But *please, please spay that dog.* She went through a night of trauma and pain and surgery unnecessarily, (she’s at higher risk for certain cancers now, too) and a puppy died unnecessarily... not to mention we already have way too many abandoned and homeless puppies. It was lovely, but I really hope she’s spayed.

Oh my God, in between the birthing of the puppies where none of them were breathing, and Bobby's snake bite with all of that blood red urine and her sad story, this whole episode had me in tears.😭😭😭

The bird was like "Dad I'm keeping my lip piercing in... you can't make me take it out. I'm 16."

Chris is a wonderfully funny guy that always has me laughing...he's so much fun! But when Chris is worried or sad? That hurts ME. When he had to keep giving mouth to mouth, when the second puppy died, and when he honestly admitted that it was hard...I actually cried. He's such a great guy.

THE DOGS COMPETING I DIED

Watching how emotional the two women are with the dog bitten by the snake just brought tears to my eyes. I know how much I love my dog I’d be devastated too. It’s so wonderful to know there are folks out there who love animals so much they foster them until hopefully they find their forever homes.

It's amazing how stoic animals are about expressing physical pain and discomfort. They probably do that instinctively because in the wild, if they show any form of weakness, they're goners.

We had a long haired shepherd...the most intelligent dog I’ve ever had...I could teach him something once he had it forever. Max weighed 125lbs in his prime. He also loved to fetch branches as well as small boulders which he would drop on our feet to throw for him. We called it the Max Dance. He knew at least several hundred words and was an accomplished food thief. He was protective but incredibly gentle, especially with baby beasties, human or otherwise. It’s been well over twenty years since he died..at 14...and I still miss him.

Australia is the scariest place I've ever longed to see in person. 🙀 🤣 Love from the US - you guys are awesome.

This is why I neutered my dog !!!! Especially in small breeds it’s heartbreaking to see them in so much pain .

Every time I watch a birthing video, my heart beats for the patient and her babies and even stronger for her LOVE for her puppies Dr Chris, it's emotional, you can't help but cry

I think if you go through something like that snake bite experience with a dog, you have pretty much committed yourself to keeping them, even if you don’t know it yet.

These people in this show are so considerate and will even do mouth to mouth on a puppy to save pet's lives. We love our pets and are grateful for people like you.

I’ve adopted my most recent bunny who happens to be my profile picture. I can ASSURE you that she definitely didn’t look like that when we got her. You could not only feel, but see her bones and had very little fur with a shaved part on her leg because she got bitten by a cat. Not only this, she hadn’t been spayed until the RSCPA got hold of her. She could have have loads of kid before and we wouldn’t have known. She’s only about 3, I would never allow her to have a litter because of how vulnerable she has been in the past. I wouldn’t have let Bendi have a litter either. (my bunnies name is Ronnie and she’s absolutely fine now and is such an excitable rabbit)

Knowing that you have a breed that finds giving birth really difficult why would you breed it? And also knowing that why didn't you have her sterilised? Why were they not advised that?...

I just love Chris’s dedication to every animal

Was kinda selfish of that lady to let bendi be pregnant with knowledge of how hard it is on that breed.

I used to foster dogs and have delivered puppies because of it and I can say these vets do everything they can to help those puppies and when you hear thoes crys you are never more happy that a tiny creature is mad at you!!!

Massive credit to the foster parent of Bobby for bringing her when she did and making sure that Bobby gets the care that she needs with the snake bite. You can tell this lady really cares about Bobby and I feel her as she does want Bobby to have a forever home asap. Please adopt animals, not shop them.

One of my dogs, an American Staffordshire mix, was bit by a rattlesnake last year. I was 10-20 feet away and weeding my garden while my dog played in the grass. Saw her leap up in the air and told her to leave it and go play elsewhere. Never saw nor heard the snake. Maybe 20 minutes later, she was standing still with one paw up and looking poorly so I inspected her feet, didn't see anything, and brought her inside. A wound on her cheek/neck was found and she was rushed to the emergency vet. She became more alert on the ride as it was quickly getting dark so the lights attracted her. She wasn't dying or in dire straits, fortunately, just very down. Her neck swelled to a big ball like a pelican. She got anti-venom and stayed overnight to watch for negative reactions but she came home the next day and was fine, though she looked weird with her shaved, swollen neck. She was bit in a rather good spot, though, as she has a very fleshy, rolly neck. We got her and her brother vaccinated for snake bites.

Any reason they didn’t just take Bindi into the clinic for an emergency c-section in the first place? It’s common knowledge that Norwich Terriers have very difficult births...it seems to me that perhaps all of the puppies could have been saved if this would have been done FIRST?

It was probably 5 a.m. in the morning when the final scenes were filmed, but Dr. Chris looked like it was 5 p.m. on any given day. I would have looked like something the cat dragged in out of the rain if I'd been up all night and into the early morning hours in that stressful situation.

This guy is a magician... kudos to the Doc for his great skill & love of his patients... Congrats to all for their great futures in life...

I had rescued a poor little Bichon (blind in one eye) from the snow - apparently she had been abandoned and been seen for about 3 weeks around the residence. She had refused to be touched or eat except by anyone except by my Rottie. I made up a bed in my room and we spent the night together. The next day I managed to touch her and after calling the SPA (animal rescue), I had a tel. number - no answer, no message. Her little collar was fixed with a safety pin. So she stayed with me. It was obvious that she was on heat and as excepted, her time lost outside brought the inevitable - a big tummy. So I prepared a special bed, but she didn't like it. One night she jumped up on my bed, screaming, and gave birth to what I thought was the first of the pups. The pup was so huge and I had to help the birthing (first time in my life). In fact she only birthed 1 pup, huge !!! It was the most beautiful moment of my life and the pup grew up to be twice the size of my Bichon. Both had long and happy lives with me.

Bobby should be Tanya’s foster fail. She loves him so much and he, her!❤❤❤

I have five rescue dogs. 4 are small breeds. All five are fixed. No breeding. No risk. I got them, I fixed them. Period. For their well being and health. I have 4 rescue cats. Same deal for them. All are fixed. They come to me homeless and hopeless. They live the rest of their lives in love and pampering. For however long they have left in the world it will be a good life. I made them a promise when I accepted them. I keep my promises. Rescue horses, dogs, cats, a snake, among a hundred others. 💗💗

Rip to the dog in-between (2nd puppy). I wish they all could have lived. I cried when he announced that they were gone.

Poor little Bindi. So much pain and distress. She obviously cannot be a dog for breeding, she should have been fixed, but glad they are keeping the pups, just hope they get all 3 fixed! My dog got bit by a snake once, got her in the neck too. I rushed to the ER so fast I'm surprised I didn't get a ticket! Than.k goodness she made a full recovery

Well done to Dr Lisa for saving the dog from a snake bite it was very touch an go for a while which was scary and I hope the foster care lady did decide to keep her because she was just smitten by that dog and there bond together. Dr Chris u did a fantastic job saving 2 puppies for the mother dog and her owners well done just goes to show if cpr is needed that what u do. Ur both fantastic vets in my eyes congratulations with all ur hard work I love this video’s as well 💜💜💜💜💜💜
