That clutch don’t look that bad I have changed hundreds of them also I never disconnected the clutch pipe used to take cylinder off as they can be a pig to bleed usually back bleed them 👍

😊 glad you got another legend of a truck Greg I'll say it again but The dafs of that ere were just the best amazing workhorses I had 2 dafs when I had my recovery business But I mostly had ford cargos because my dads friend could get them at a discount I would say the 4 best trucks are The fords d series The Bedford tk Ford cargo Leyland daf road runner I'm surprised you haven't got a cargo tbh Greg

Was the 45 not a 7.5 tonner? I drove for 2 different recovery company's and had 45s with both them,I was only licensed for 7.5 at the time but I was legal. On another note they both wer twin lift slide backs,and both pulled like trains wen loaded. Loved the zf gearbox also.

Here’s a good question If you recover a vehicle on a flat bed are the occupants allowed to stay in the vehicle while the flat bed is driving down a motorway….. Just seen one going down the M25 VHrecovery It was the driver getting a selfie that court my eye 🤦‍♂️

My old man had one of these with a 20 foot platform on it. It was a 11 ton derated to 7.5 ton it had the 180 Cummings in it.👍Get Chris the professional struggler in he knows his stuff. 👍😀🔧

Pre 1996 trucks don't have them fitted and you can't fit them as the truck wasnt fitted with suitable crash tested mounting points . Believe the seat belt laws came in in 94 for cars then the trucks followed 2 year's latter .

You cant fit one. Speak to a manufacturer or an after market company they wont do them because of liabilitys and strengthing points and have to go undergow vigorous testing.

why cant you buy newer vehicle's that dont pollute the planet. plus gives the customer satisfaction that the company they hired are running a newer fleet of vehicles. nice to see classics getting restored but for classic shows etc
