If it is done out of respect with good intentions, with no animosity or hate toward the Hopi, then I see no problem with it. Hopis have dances that are meant to pay homage to the tribes that surround the villages (Zuni, Apache, Santo Domingo, Navajo, Ute, Comanche), that weeks of preparation and meditation build up to so that the dancers can disperse the prayers that are sung into the clouds, for the world. Long ago when tribes used to trade & marry each other, knowledge and clothing was exposed to the Hopi villages that inspired these dances that are still done today. So, no ill intentions here.
