My Uncle, when he returned from the Vietnam War, went on a vision quest with the Hopi. He was really angry when he came back from the war and he felt that he deserved to die like some of his platoon members. I am glad that he received help from the Hopi and he was able to calm down and continue living. He visited the Lakota too, but he said that it was the Hopi who truly helped him accept what happened and to calm down.
Wow. Wish my dad did that aft Nam., he may have lived a long life, very sad to know that your story of what dad went through is about verbatum as mine AND many many others. You stay strong my friend.🙏
Thank you for taking me along. I go to a place I call Wolf Mountain, when I'm hurt and need to seek direction for God. I flew in the eye of an Eagle and heard that Eagle scream. I saw 2 wild wolf litter mates. I saw a Native in wolf skins on a river tributary. Even the matis can walk the Red Road. Hope your vision quest was refreshing to your spirits.
Nice to see Dine' out in different areas of the country, I myself is in Oregon traveled as a truck driver, from the west to east coast, north to south. Am originally from New Mexico and now currently in Oregon, some Dine' folks love to travel, I'm an explorer. Like different places and enjoy meeting new people. Be safe and stay healthy, came across your channel. Aee'hee for sharing.
I was literally sent/led by spirits on a vision quest this past Feb. Didn't know that's what was happening until later. I have a small percentage of Native South American blood but I'm not Native or raised Native but have just always felt a strong spiritual connection. I have a very strong faith in God and Jesus but make it a point to stay open minded about all faiths and through research have found most faiths tell the same story. I made a comment shortly before this happened about human energy being why Native Americans didn't want an observatory built on their sacred mountain and that somehow opened this portal to the spirit world or something. There were all kinds of spirits and God and the Earth and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They taught me things, showed me things, led me North to the mountains. They told me I needed to go alone, throw my phone out the window. It was north so I knew there'd probably be snow and I was def not dressed for snow but I was told I'd be safe and I was! I ate and drank hardly anything in the days leading up to it and during. Barely slept either but I didn't need to. I never felt stronger or more alive. Before or since. It's hard to adapt back to this reality after I traveled in the spirit world and I'm trying to understand this info I received and how to share it but I'm lost
You have no idea how badly my son wants to go to where you live. He's not Native American but he studies history and culture so much. Hopefully I can take him up there to see all of the historic sights. It's so beautiful up there. All the best to you and your family. Thank you.
Lakota speaking Navajo, how cool is that? I'm always impressed by our native vloggers and just wanted to express my gratitude for all you do for the native youth. Thanks for sharing. Keep doing what your doing.👊

I've been to the black hills, a few summers ago, where I learned the native people call it, "black rock". Beautiful up there. Tons of deer and little trout creeks and camping. If I remember correctly the gas prices weren't too bad. But with the pipeline shutdown, who knows. I'd go back for sure.

As a white man I can't stand starbucks I call it starsucks. Yes I understand some Lakota because I have Love of learning and that includes studying indigenous languages and customs.
@@NavajoManLakotaBae i really enjoy it. I am self taught in the language as they do not teach it in our schools. It is sort of a hobby of mine. I hope all is well with you and your family in these trying times
I would like to post your videos on Facebook but Facebook is very strict about certain words that have to do with race I am a mixed child so I am part Lakota and Part White I word things like white girl or white boy or white people and the people on Facebook will complain about that if I put your video on there but I talk the same way I personally do not have a problem with the context of the word White the way it is used but the people in Facebook on the other hand they would have a field today and delete the post and block me for at least 30 days because when I say something that's what they do they complain and then Facebook deletes my post or comment and then blocks me for like 24 hours or 3 days or 7 days or 30 days something like that it has happened before I keep it real and I don't care what anybody thinks social media and I'm talkin about Facebook that is but I enjoy watching the videos with your wife and you and the two twins that are on the way can't wait to see two more miracles of god very good job by the way Mom and Dad
