I was just on the Navigator a couple days ago for our first cruise. I say the Wind Jammer had the best food vs My Dining. I also noticed the food serve in My Dining will be in Wind Jammer to match the theme of the day. I wish there is variety of Asian food. But overall the Navigator was a good experience and customer service was excellent. Highlight of the trip was Mr. Washy Washy singing wash your hands changing song lyrics…lol
Navigator was my very first cruise ship. It's been years since I've been on it so things are looking a bit different obviously, even a few new restaurants to boot 😁. Izumi's was definitely my highlight restaurant when I was there 🤤😋❤!
We're taking our first cruise in September aboard the Navigator of the Seas. Do you know if the specialty restaurants have a minimum spend? Our cruise is just 4 days, and in order to sample everything we want to eat on board (without overeating and making ourselves ill :)) I only want to order one or two items per restaurant, if that's possible. Let me know if you have ay insider knowledge, cheers.
A majority of the specialty dining venues are going to be a prix fixe menu, so an appetizer, main, and dessert will be included in the price you pay. This will include Chops Grille, Jamie's Italian, Hooked Seafood, and Izumi. Izumi is the only one that should offer certain rolls and appetizers a la carte. Johnny Rockets and Playmakers are the other two individually priced options. If you think you may not want to order a full meal but you want to go to several of the restaurants I would see if you can find a good deal on one of the dining packages, that way you know what you've paid upfront and you don't have to worry so much about eating everything to feel like you got your money's worth. Hopefully that helps, if you have any other questions please let us know. Enjoy Navigator and thanks for watching!
