Just wanted to thank you for doing these podcasts. I joined the Navy in ‘93, fresh off of reading Richard Marcinko’s book, pumped up and ready to go for my dream. I ran into red tape as I had signed a 6 year deal, per my recruiter’s advice, to be an HT, one of the supposed prerequisite jobs for the teams. My first and only command was the Dwight D. Eisenhower, CVN 69. Within a year, I was out on my backside. OTH discharge for a fight on board, with my weld shops 2nd, an E5. I actually thought that might just help me get orders to BUDS. I was so naive. My review board said I would’ve been great for the Navy of 20 years prior, and that I didn’t belong in today’s “ Kinder gentler Navy”. They denied my request for transfer, and I was told by some Team guys out of Little Creek, VA, (Team 2) that I had blown my chance anyhow, having a misconduct attached to my record. So, I asked to be sent to BUD/S, or sent home. Obviously, I got the latter… Long winded, if you read this, thank you. I’ve always looked up to Team guys. Much love and respect, I so wish I could’ve been mentally strong enough to have had the chance to see if I measured up, and to have possibly been part of the pack. I never was, nor will be, but your podcast let’s me peer into the lives and stories of those I truly respect, and takes me back some 30 years to a dream long forgotten. Thank you

Just when you think that one of these guys is soft, you sit with them or listen to them, and realize they’re just in rest mode and are complete badasses.
If u think navy seals are soft because they don't feel the need to be scary because they know they will put you down first especially if you under estimate someone, I'm in my early 30's and have had someone bully me for the last 15 years and finally got fed up with them when they tried to attack me on Christmas day and knocked them out with a little jab because this person is a 3rd degree black belt who beat me up many times because I didn't want to have to hurt him, he learned fast this time after I dropped with him to stick my sharp finger nails in his eye gauging his eye out, he thought he was just going to make me his victim again, this is someone who has never showed me any type of respect and I didn't enjoy having to do what I did, a navy seal will disable you permanently very quickly, and thats dope he still skates, just rode my board the other day and have not used it for years but grew up skating

I caught this entire webcast by accident at 0225 hrs. Sitting about to go nuts, you know, another sleepless night. This show helped me. Can't say enough to vets about how much they mean to me, words can't go that deep. Y'all kept the bad guys over there and kept us safe that's for damn sure. I think the Lord guided me to this podcast and Mike, you and Ryan reminded me that the light at the end of the tunnel was the sunlight, and wasn't a 100 car Freight Train. I pulled all the seals off the planes in TQ at that time. Definitely appreciate them going into habbaniyah and wiping out the mortar teams that kept hitting us and the marines so hard.
If that go back to talking about the times and the monkey when you're at the house and that trip over to the Philippines I think it was I want to hear more about that man and the man goes and the awesome food you didn't talk about The Nightlife and the ladies at all come on let's hear more about that trip over there at the Philippines or maybe Mike maybe you could give us a story about the Philippines

I understand what you are saying regarding, "If Mr. DiNigro can't handle that after getting a woman pregnant, then he's not a "great guy", in my book." John DeNigro is a product of his environment. What is an environment? What does environmental mean? It is mostly females that have been influencing John DeNigro and infidelity was the cause of the divorce with Tammy Preato-DeNigro in Rochester, New York which is sad. 🙁 Maybe if the catholic churches had counseling programs to provide support to have healthier marriages then maybe that might have prevented the infidelity that led up to the divorce. 🙁 Maybe economic issues caused the friction too. I wouldn't have what I have now in January 2022 if John DeNigro wasn't here from October 2013 to December 2017. Now, who influenced John DeNigro to move out? Who talked John DeNigro into moving out to live with another woman? A lot of people do not want to do Pre-Cana marriage preparation because it gets too deep and they have to put a lot of thought into stuff.
I am a big jacked dude... (the type often the first to ring the Bell in BUDS). Look at this SEAL. You do not have to be huge and jacked to get through BUDS, get your Trident and become the Tip of the Spear. Heart and soul. Desire and focus. Relentless. High speed, low drag. Respect!... little capable, deadly brother.
I was friends with a SEAL OIC in Rosy Roads back in the day. We would watch Das Boot over and over while consuming Gin Gimlets. He told me one time, "I don't feel alive unless my life is on the line." I hope he made it out alive. I did.
John DeNigro moved out in December 2017 to live with another woman which is hurtful but I am also grateful for what I do have and I wish good things for John DeNigro. You have lots of information about John DeNigro so please try to help John DeNigro with the financial issues that he has. I pray that the work be gentle with John DeNigro and I pray that God provides food and shelter and transportation for John DeNigro.
