I’ve read (listened actually) to Jim Hawes’ book a few years ago. Amazing. Recommended. And it was such a treat to watch this because obviously of his life, his recall in 2022 and storytelling is remarkable. Moreover, the questions really got him to add some color I don’t remember. Needs a longer Part II if he’s willing. With maps. Great guest. Silent gen hero. Like my father.
