Found you via the reactions and love when you share your own stories too. Definitely would love to see your take on the Coins/Blue Falcon campfire story and had something similar happen.
My first job was being a clean up and gofer for my dad's gutter company when i was maybe 13-14. My first clock in job was being a bag boy for a Kroger grocery store when i was 16. That lasted for a week maybe 2 before i quit. Cashier girls was always snobby and rude to me. I'm new but if i make the slightest mistakes the managers would act like i just murdered someone. Im 16 years old but they was having me put on the schedule to work till 10 or 11 at night even though i told them no late schedules. i lived like 20-30 minutes down the road and my parents would have to come get ne that late at night. The final straw was one day after clocking in the manager asked me why i haven't been doing my daily task. I think it might of been to buff the floors in front of the stores where the checkout lines was the day before. I told them "i put in the application to be a bagger. Nobody said anything i had to buff the floors". They showed me this clip board that shows the daily task i needed to do before punching off the clock. I told them nobody ever informed me i needed to these and nobody told me i had to look at a clipboad for task i needed to do. So i "apologized" and said ill be more mindful next time. So at the end of the day i did my daily task that was emptying trashcans under the checkout lanes. I went home ane never went back cept to oick up my check. Didi go into that shore for the longest time if my mom decided to go grocery shopping there.
