Congrats Andre! I also got out of the navy and moved back to Colorado this year. I pay almost as much money for my one bedroom apartment as a mortgage on a house.

My ex-wife left me as I was going to the Va in Columbus Ohio for ptsd. Lost my home with the VA loan just two years in as she left me for someone else, as I was having issues after my two deployments I finally decided to seek help after active duty. She busted my credit up along with the foreclosure and owes me $3,500 in marital debt settled by the courts. She’s on the run and I can’t serve her contempt of court😡 😓…I’m now 100% disabled and get social security. I’ve knocked off $22,000 out of $32,000 in debt and my credit still isn’t good enough to utilize another va loan 😓 My landlord sold the house I was renting after one year. Now living at my g/f’s in the basement! What is a person to do 😭

Disgusting. VA home loans don’t even own the loan. And yes, I had to pay 5k down on their “no money down” promise After closing, they sale the mortgage to a 3rd party lender and they are also a debt collector
