This is the first ever recipe which I saw on RU-vid where it is truly jaw dropping. When you said gold is essential for this recipe, I thought you were kidding. The part of animation footage where melting gold in Daal was mention, it reaffirmed my thought that it is fictional and I was laughing. But, when you put that ring on stove to melt, I realised you were actually serious all along. Gold foil is something but melting the gold itself is completely different level. Thanks for putting this recipe out, I’ll make this recipe when I’m financially independent but until then I’ll keep making other recipes.

Made this unique dal and the taste is mindblowing. This dal leaves a slightly sweet and aromatic taste on the palette with a hint of spiciness coming from the garlic and black pepper. Thanks Chef! My only confusion was around the timings of soaking the dal. If you can clarify that it would be great.
