First time i tried layton, i got the vapor rub vibe that people keep talking about, but as i kept trying it, that smell just went away, and now i actually love it.
Layton and Exclusif are my absolute favorite scents but Naxos is magnificent in every way. My top 3 easily. Looking forward to trying Side effect as soon as possible.

all 3 are legendary and compliment monsters for me Layton: most ‘familiar’ and easy to love dna but the niche quality is what separates it. fall/winter daytime signature but it’s beautiful on spring/summer nights too Naxos: the most all year signature worthy out of the 3. oddly enough the most compliments for me come in the spring/summertime with this one day or night. the citrus and lavender are bright and really keep it from going too sweet and dense. it was made to represent sicily which in the summer can get up to 90+ so it makes sense Side Effect: one of the most luxurious and well done boozy vanillas you’ll smell and it’s an absolute powerhouse of a scent. dress it up or dress it down going out at night esp in the fall/winter. the side effect is feeling like you are HIM or HER or THEM. the most unisex of the and the most ‘moody’ ‘vampy’ vibe of them all
Naxos is my most complimented fragrance as a guy. I had compliments from 4 Women in one day. It was a sunny spring day and the scent was popping off my skin.
I do get the menthol smell with Layton but I actual like it. Doesn’t smell like Vicks just get the cool menthol smell in the opening. But Layton is definitely a sexy fragrance

I don’t smell Vicks at all on Layton, out of the three Layton is the best. Carlisle is the one smell like Vicks to me on opening which I hated at first then fell in love with it later 😂
Liked Layton but the Menthol note is off-putting, I can’t vibe with Naxos - I don’t like the sweetness mixed with the freshness but Side Effect smells like straight up sex to me.. it’s SOOOO GOOD!!! 🤤
First time I smelled Layton on paper I hated it (smelt like Vicks). Then I sprayed it on skin and started liking it. Now it’s fully grown on me and love it
i am one that has tried Layton from three different sources and Ive figured out it has to be me. So its not made up that its coming off skin like vapor rub. i sprayed it on my wife and daughter and it smells totally different.
When I blind-bought Layton, the first thing I noticed when I wore it was "This smells medicinal in the opening. But I can't put my finger on what it's reminding me of.. Oh, it's Vick's Vapo Rub"... But it DOES smell really good though, and it is my go-to fragrance
I can say it really depends on your skin. I've watched your spraying routine and that just doesn't cut it for me. I usually have to with 6 sprays of Naxos for it to actually perform on my skin. And I do moisturise beforehand. But if you guys are wondering which one is the most versatile, I would say go for Naxos. I've worn that gem at the office (3 sprays) and have gotten compliments. I wore it at the gym (3 sprays) and people have noticed it. Going out, no brainer. It's just an overall amazing scent. But to Melissa's point, not for the hot summer days!
I went, and I get ,alghabra eye of seven hill,instead of side effects,because I feel side effect lean more feminine ,they are in same vain but eye of seven hills feel more masculine leaning
That menthol vibe people hate about Layton is SPECIFICALLY what makes Layton enjoyable in the summer. It would have been a cooler weather fragrance without the menthol vibe
Naxos is the first one I’d consider paying over $150. I wear polo blue parfum in shorts and summer suit and tie. It’s the fire. Ramz silver is the fire all year round. . And Joop la parfum and wild are good to top on Naxos after 6-10 hours if needed to get through the day. To save on Naxos. That’s all the cologne a man ever needs. The rest is clutter
I'm from Indonesia, can you help me choose between V canto Mirabile and Slava Zaitsev Velor Gourmand?, previously I really liked Montale Chocolate greedy. I've tried the V canto Mirabile sample, and I really like the Vanilla creammie, but I can't find a sample Velor Gourmand, I'm so confused now
The women I work with think side effect is really sexy when I wear it. They say Naxos isn't as sexy but gives sophisticated grown man cigar bar vibes. Can definitely smell the mafia boss vibes. Haven't had them sniff out Layton yet but the love side effect on me.
@@travisp8825 8-10 hours longevity, but projection is more intimate. Personally, I don't mind that because I think this would be overwhelming if it had beast mode projection.
@@travisp8825 I'd say 10 hours longevity with moderate projection. Not beast mode, but I prefer it that way because if this thing projected strongly it would be too overwhelming.
