She really has a solid solo debut. I agree with what you said I can hear Twice in the title track but its still so perfectly Nayeon. Her vocals in this album are really front and center and it's so nice to hear her lower range and all those harmonies she's doing. Ugh loving this album so much! Her live performance of Pop was so good and high energy I don't know how she does it. And she looks freaking amazing. The stylist always styles her so good in Twice but they really brought out all the stops for this one!!! I want every outfit!!!!
I have never once in my life been this excited for a debut. I COUNTED DOWN THE DAYS AND HOURS and was so dang excited because even tho I don’t know much about Twice, Nayeon has been my favorite for her personality and sunshine smile and vibes. The title track is a bop yes BUT I HEARD A CLIP OF “NO PROBLEM” AND I CRIED😭it’s totally my taste in music and I teared up. Especially at the end when she and Felix go acapella. StrayKids are my ult group and Felix is also sunshine so I just love every ounce of that song😩💗💜really glad you loved it too considering I was looking forward to that the most haha (Edit was spelling mistake)
What I think that JYPE does the best with TWICE is how they handle their progression as artists. From their group debut until now their sound and image has felt very natural and even with Nayeon’s debut, like you said, it sounds like a TWICE song but it also doesn’t which helps us ease into another stage in their careers as future solo artists. The title track is totally Nayeon in a nutshell and I’m so happy for her debut and (potentially) the other members’ debuts!!!
The bsides are so Nayeon. Chill but also upbeat and fun. The whole album strangely feels like what it would be if Twice and Red Velvet combined and i’m obsessed. I can’t wait to see what other members release solo albums and what concept they go for.
From the concept photos , in some of them , she gave me Sunmi vibes. This M/V only strengthened my opinion. I'd love to see a colab song-M/V from them since they share the same quirkiness. In general I enjoyed this album. 👍 P.S "POP" is an earworm and I live for that choreo. I took a sneaky little break from work when it dropped (7AM my time) and for the rest of my shift I was like "Pop pop pop , uh uh" .When my colleagues asked me what was wrong with me I answered with "Pop pop pop , uh uh" ...
Someone described No Problem as being the kind of song that you'd hear in a shopping montage in a 2000s movie in the best way possible and I completely agree
this songs in this album are just so perfect to listen to especially now! i am so proud of her! every song had literally the best vibes! also, i only saw someone on twitter tweet that Genius leaked Nayeon would have a solo, but the title and lyrics were ofc not accurate. and yess Pop! was definitely Nayeon vibes but also Twice vibes especially their earlier sound for sure! LOL nayeon collabed with your son and you. wow no matter i love this album so much haha.
Honestly I felt that a Nayeon solo was so sudden like there weren't any rumours that she was recording anything but it was very expected that Nayeon would be the first one to debut solo.

I guess it's just fact at this point that everything Wonstein touches turns into gold. I don't know a single track he's featured on that hasn't been good! LOVE COUNTDOWN is definitely one of my favourite tracks on the album. ^^

Pop! is actually stacked with Kenzie, LDN Noise, and others who worked on it, which is why I'm surprised that I wasn't really feeling the song. However, I really like the MV, it matches the vibe well and feels expensive.
