Located 7 kilometers from Izmir Kemalpaşa, Nazarköy, formerly known as Kurudere, became the production center of evil eye beads after 2010, after the village people started producing evil eye beads in the early 2000s. Village people are now starting to open shops selling evil eye bead accessories on the village streets, and the number of tourists visiting the village is increasing day by day.
The hiking trail extending to Nazarköy Canyon has been known for the hiking activities organized by mountaineering clubs in Izmir for many years. Today, in Nazarköy, it is possible to watch the evil eye beads being made in the bead kilns, visit the bead shops in the village center, have a village breakfast, go on a nature walk or camp.

Nazarköy bazaar, with the Evil Eye Tree and Hittite Relief relief statue in the center, consists of narrow streets and village houses. There are many car parks in the village. It is not possible to travel around the village by car due to the narrow streets and people walking. Some restaurants in the village also have their own free parking lots. As we stroll through the pine-scented streets of Nazarköy, we are greeted by dozens of shops selling evil eye beads. In the bazaar square, there is a junction towards the valley and the road leading to the centre. When you continue to the market square, you can see bead shops, cafes and evil eye bead workshops. In the center of the bazaar, the Evil Eye Tree and the Hittite relief welcome us.
