Nazr-e-Aligarh......AMU Tarana 

Beautiful explanation of the beautiful Tarana of AMU. My roots are from KPK Pakistan. Born in Pakistan , brought up in UK and now living in U.S. but lifelong love of Urdu language . Had always had a wish to attend Pakistan’s AMU, Aitchison College, Lahore but my taqdeer had a different path for me. May Allah (swt) always keep these beautiful institutions of learning flourishing and may the rays of knowledge of its students illuminate the world and may its rich heritage and culture remain steadfast in this fast changing world. Original tarana k sath ...kuch naya karna theek nahi....purani dhoon acchi hai ....pls usse na chaidhi jae ...aur andaj bhi na badla jae .

میں منٹو سرکل میں دسویں کلاس میں تھا, 1957 میں. اسوقت محترم اشتیاق صاحب ہمیں انگریزی پڑھاتے تھے. اور کلچرل پروگرام کے انچارج بھی تھے. اسی وقت سے ترانے میں موسیقی شامل کرنے کی بات تھی. لیکن کتر بیونت کے بعد ترانہ ریکارڈ پر دیڑھ حصے پر آتا تھا جبکہ اسے دونوں طرف مکمل ہونا چاہئے تھا. اسوقت تک ہر جگہ بغیر موسیقی کے ترانہ پڑھتے تھے. بعد میں اسے موسیقیت دے دی گئی. میں خود بھی گروپ میں رہتا تھا. اور اسوقت ترانے کی جو موسیقیت تھی بغیر موسیقی کے وہ میرے خیال میں زیادہ خوبصورت اور اثر انگیز تھی. لیکن محترم اشتیاق صاحب نے اس انداز کو موسیقی کے زیرِ اثر تبدیل کر دیا. میرے استاد تھے زیادہ کہنا حدِ ادب ہوگا. والسلامًُ.
