NB Miata Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

Irene just purchased a 1999 Mazda Miata and needs to knock out some maintenance. I’ll be showing not only her but also you guys on how to replace a Valve Cover Gasket.
Tools I used-
•3/8 extension, not necessary but will help out with your back and the bolts near the intake
•Icon Torque Wrench 3/8 Drive 40-200 inch-lbs
•12mm wrench, preferably a ratchet wrench
•Somewhat Clean Rag
•3/8 Ratchet Wrench
•10mm 3/8 Socket
•Gasket Sealant
•Brake Cleaner
•Razor Blades
•Pliers
•RTV

I love that you're teaching your daughter how to do the work herself! That's awesome! There's a lot of dads who would just do it for their daughter BUT it's far better to teach their daughters like you're doing! What a cool father daughter bonding project! So awesome!

I just got a 99 Miata and yes, I have to replace the Valve cover gasket. This was a help. I also have to change the coils as they are about due. Enjoyed the vid, have a good one.
